The English Premier League (EPL) returns after a week’s break due to the international break. With several injuries going around, your research will be crucial to picking a strong fantasy soccer lineup. We take a look at some players to consider from each position for DraftKings’ three-game EPL slate on Saturday.

Timo Werner ($8,100)

Werner hasn’t yet hit the same goal-scoring fluency he had in last season’s Bundesliga. He scored a scorching goal against Tottenham in the EFL Cup, which will surely inspire him with confidence. Werner has been one of the most productive offensive players in world soccer in the last few months. His scoring form for Chelsea isn’t far away.

Alexandre Lacazette ($7,700)

Lacazette has earned the faith of his manager Mikel Arteta as a starter this season. He is repaying that faith with goals. He scored a goal against Liverpool, albeit off a scruffy shot. His other goals have displayed both flair and composure. Manchester City has been guilty of being sloppy on the break, which could leave Lacazette open.

Others to consider: Riyad Mahrez ($9,000)

Bruno Fernandes ($10,000)

Manchester United will still be hurting, and it has been close to two weeks since a humiliating 6-1 loss to Tottenham in the last Premier League game. The plan will be simple: find stability and just play. Fernandes has done that better than most in the EPL since Project Restart. He is certainly worth his price of $10,000.

Marcus Rashford ($7,600)

Rashford put out an emotional post on Twitter following Manchester United’s defeat to Tottenham. This club means a lot to him because he has risen to the top from the academy. Even though he hasn’t yet hit his stride this season, that passion and determination could be enough to drive his team forward, even on the road against Newcastle.

Others to consider: Kai Havertz ($7,700)

Reece James ($5,700)

James isn’t the best defender in the Premier League. His price on this slate is so high because of his attacking proficiency. He has already scored one goal with one assist this season. He likes to move down the right flank and whip delectable deliveries into the six-yard box. With Werner around, that could lead to another assist.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka ($5,200)

After conceding six goals, a Manchester United defender is not going to have a lot of confidence. However, I see this the other way. There is enough optimism in the team after a week’s break. Against a Newcastle team that can often be too passive in the middle of the field, Manchester United won’t face as stern a task as Tottenham. A clean sheet is in the offing.

David de Gea ($5,500)

De Gea averages -0.3 DKFP per game. Negative output is almost unheard of for a Manchester United player. That will change soon, plausibly as soon as Saturday. De Gea has often been guilty of being lackadaisical but there will be a heightened sense of expectation in this game, which should keep him alert.

Others to consider: Ederson ($5,800)
