Another week, another ATP Tour event. This week, the men head to Vienna, Austria where the city is hosting a 500-level indoor hardcourt event. On Monday, big names like Andrey Rublev ($11,000) and Denis Shapovalov ($10,500) are in action. Without further ado, let’s take a look at options to consider for your fantasy tennis rosters on DraftKings.

High-priced Options
Andrey Rublev ($11,000)
The Russian hasn’t been beaten in nearly a month, and has only lost once since Sept. 17th — a tight three-setter in the French Open quarters. During the run, he’s won two titles: A clay-court 1000-level tournament in Rome and the ATP 500 event in Hamburg. He’s had arguably the best year on tour aside from what Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal have done, jetting up to No. 8 in the world. Norbert Gombos ($4,000) dominated the ATP Challenger Tour last season and has found some success in the main draws, but isn’t nearly on the level of this ball basher. There’s an extremely slim chance he drops a set.
Denis Shapovalov ($10,500)
If you tune into this one, it might feel like Shapovalov is looking into a mirror. His opponent Jurij Rodionov ($4,300) is also left-handed and has a big one-handed backhand much like the Canadian. I’m not as crazy about Shapovalov here as I am about Rublev, but if you want to spend up, he’s probably the best option above $8.5K. He’s been a very hard out despite a record that’s troublingly close to .500, with most of his losses against good players. Rodionov is much like Gombos, a Challenger Tour standout in 2019 who still has work to do before achieving main-draw success. A newly-focused Shapovaolv, who’s made some changes since working with Mikhail Youzhny, should roll and rack up aces.

Cam Norrie ($8,500)
One of the few matches included at the smaller ATP 250 in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, Norrie and Jordan Thompson ($6,400) should be one of the closer duels on this Monday slate. The Brit, who showed so much promise early in his career, has slowly put together a nice little run over the past two indoor hardcourt tournaments, with quality wins over Miomir Kecmanovic, Taylor Fritz and Emil Ruusuvuori. I love his form right now — his tennis has been very clean and composed — and he comes in with a 3-1 lifetime record against the Australian. Thompson’s game is brilliantly average and Norrie’s raised level will be too much to overcome.
Gael Monfils ($6,200)
Yes, this feels like a very public play, but I’m really intrigued by Monfils’ 3-1 career record against Pablo Carreno-Busta ($8,700). The Frenchman didn’t come out of the restart very strongly, and most oddsmakers have no faith he can turn things around against one of the more in-form players on tour, but I’m backing him at this price. He’ll take a set at the very least, and his performance on indoor hardcourts in early 2020 is too good to ignore. Monfils was the hottest player in the world, winning Rotterdam and Montpellier before losing in the semis of Dubai against Novak Djokovic, where he had match points. If he can reclaim that form even a little, he’ll win.
Others to consider: Dennis Novak ($6,000)
