Hey, I’m Cramer. Welcome to Week 5, and welcome to DraftKings. Last week was my first article on DK Playbook and I, along with my team from BullMarketFantasy.com, highlighted the players to use in cash games and GPPs. Before we get to the Week 5 players, let’s do a quick recap from our Week 4 picks. We went 50/50 on QBs with Russell Wilson having another stellar game but fell a bit short with our suggestion of Jared Goff against the Giants.
For running backs, we absolutely nailed our picks. Alvin Kamara was one of the top-performing cash game RBs, but our other suggestion of Joe Mixon proved to be the pick of the week. The Bengals’ running back was the highest scoring player on Week 4’s main slate with 45.10 DKFP, and at less than 5% ownership in the Millionaire contest, Mixon really paid major dividends. For wide receiver, we paired up D.K. Metcalf with our suggestion of Russell Wilson for cash games and each came through with a solid performance, but once again we were let down by the Rams as Robert Woods could not take advantage of a cake matchup against the Giants. For tight ends, both our picks of Dalton Schultz and TJ Hockenson turned out fantastic. Schultz produced 4x his salary while our cash game suggestion of Hockenson finished slightly over 2x his salary in DKFP.
Just like I want to help you set up a proper portfolio, I want to help you win your DraftKings cash game contests, and I want to help you set your DraftKings lineups. Oh, and to be sure, if I think there’s something I have a real edge on, something that I believe is worth making a more serious wager on, I will be sure to flag it during my live stream on Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. ET with the info you need to feel confident about the call.
And always remember, some people are trying to make friends, I’m just here to help you make some money!
For Week 5’s main slate, I along with my BMF crew suggest the following players:
QB
Cash
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants, $7,400 — Despite getting burned by Jared Goff with what appeared to be an excellent opportunity to take advantage of a bad Giants defense, we are going back to the passer facing off against a brutal Big Blue defense. The Cowboys’ QB threw for a career-high 502 yards in Week 4 along with four touchdowns. He became the first player in NFL history with three consecutive games of more than 450 yards and his 1,690 yards in four games is the most all-time. Hop on board because this Dallas passing attack train is going to continue to roll in Week 5.
GPP
Teddy Bridgewater, Carolina Panthers vs. Atlanta Falcons, $5,900 — Bridgewater not only threw for two touchdowns but also ran in a score while rushing for 32 yards in Week 4. His 276 yards against the Cardinals marked the third time this season he exceeded 250 yards. Carolina this week faces an Atlanta defense that is struggling immensely against the pass in one of the highest projected scoring games of the week according to DraftKings Sportsbook (O/U 53.5).

RB
Cash
Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts vs. Cleveland Browns, $6,200 — This is a very middle of the road matchup against Cleveland. Taylor is averaging 14.5 DKFP per game, but look at his salary over the first four weeks of the season. He started off Week 1 at $5,700, shot up to $7,000 by Week 3, came down a bit at $6,660 last week and now settles in at $6,200 for Week 5. When it comes to picking profitable stocks, it helps to know where a stock has been in order to know where it can go in the future. Right now this is a great buying opportunity to use Taylor in lineups. He’s heavily involved in his team’s offensive production and is out-snapping Nyheim Hines at 33 plays to 23 plays on a per-game basis. When he’s on the field, he touches the ball 56% of the time. The Colts have a great defense and they’ll look to control the clock and win the field position game with Taylor leading the way.
DFS players should take a look at Colts running back Jonathan Taylor for their cash game lineups on @DraftKings. @JimCramer and @BillEnright picked the rookie as their VALUE play for Week 5. #Ad https://t.co/h6tezFxLXq pic.twitter.com/6ILz1bdZNA

GPP
Mike Davis, Carolina Panthers vs. Atlanta Falcons, $6,400 — We’re only two positions in and a trend is starting to form with our GPP plays. That’s because the Falcons vs. Panthers is one of our top game stacks of the week. Davis is involved in all facets of the Panthers’ scheme and with Christian McCaffrey still out and Reggie Bonnafon now on injured reserve, Davis will get plenty of burn in the high-scoring affair down in Atlanta.

WR
Cash
Amari Cooper, Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants, $7,400 — Love the QB, love the wide receiver. That’s our approach when it comes to the Cowboys this week against the Giants. The Cowboys’ receiver is priced right at $7,400, the third-highest receiver on the board. In two out of his four games, he’s gone over 100 yards and hasn’t had less than 80 yards in a game. Cooper is an absolute target hog with 54 on the year for an average of 12 per game. He has double-digit receptions in two out of four and his lowest catch total on the year is six. Last year against the Giants, Cooper had two games of over 20 DKFP — four catches for 80 yards and a score and then six catches for 106 yards and a TD. He’s been incredible this year and destroyed the Giants last year. He’ll do the same in Week 5.
GPP
Calvin Ridley, Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers, $7,500 — Think of all the season-long fantasy players and DFS players that got their hopes and dreams shattered in Week 4 when Ridley put up a ZERO. Think they’ll come back to the well on the most-explosive receiver in the NFL through three games? They’ll balk at the price tag, commiserate about his non-existent points in Week 4 and then scroll right past his name as they look for another play-maker. What a mistake! The crew at Bull Market Fantasy is going gaga over this matchup, which is our top game stack of the week.

TE
Cash
Darren Waller, Las Vegas Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs, $5,900 — Waller costs a pretty penny, but he’s well worth it. Considering the Raiders are heavy underdogs (-11.5), the expected game flow indicates Las Vegas will be throwing early and often. Who else is Derek Carr going to target? Hunter Renfrow? Waller has 40 targets in four games and outside of his lackluster game against the Patriots has yet to score lower than 10.5 DKFP. We’ve seen his reward (31.5 DKFP) and know his risk, and when factoring in both of those key resistance/support lines, Waller is a quality cash game start for Week 5.
GPP
Eric Ebron, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Philadelphia Eagles, $4,000 — If you’ve watched my show “Mad Money” or follow me on Twitter @JimCramer, you know I’m a die-hard Eagles fan. So, I know all too well the position they struggle to defend and that’s tight end. In Week 1, I watched Logan Thomas score a touchdown. In Week 2, I saw our defense bow down to Tyler Higbee as he had his best performance on the season, scoring three times. Then this past weekend, even though Philly won, I watched George Kittle catch 15-of-15 passes for 183 yards and a touchdown. I’ve come to the very difficult realization that any tight end up against my Eagles will have a great game.
Good luck in Week 5!
