We’ve arrived at the final tennis tournament of the regular season. An abbreviated 2020 swing will conclude with the year’s final Masters 1000 tournament: The Paris Masters. Most of the big guns have made the trip, including Rafael Nadal, Andrey Rublev and Stefanos Tsitsipas. WIthout further ado, let’s look at who you should consider for your fantasy tennis rosters on DraftKings.
Jan-Lennard Struff ($10,600)
It does seem odd to have Struff, the world No. 34, up at the top of the slate at a Masters 1000, right? Well, he’s the heaviest-favorite on Monday’s card at the DraftKings Sportsbook, and with good reason. His opponent, Nikoloz Basilashvili ($4,700), won just two matches during the entire regular season and is winless since the Davis Cup in March. He’s still ranked 36th in the world, and has tremendous talent, but motivation and focus has always been a factor. Considering he’s not defending any points, and won’t get bumped from the top 50 at this tournament, I don’t expect him to come out all that interested. Struff, on the other hand, is a beast on the indoor hardcourts and has won three of five meetings against the Georgian. All signs point to a straight-sets victory.
Ugo Humbert ($9,600)
The Frenchman is easily playing the best tennis of his career, only falling to some of the tour’s best — Andrey Rublev — during last month’s indoor hardcourt swing, and tallying six wins and a second-career ATP title in the process. His service has been nearly untouchable on this surface and now he’s going to have home court advantage in France, at a tournament he wants desperately to perform well at, having lost in the first-round each of the last two years. I’m confident he’ll have an easy time against Casper Ruud ($5,700), who’s been all out of sorts since his incredible run on the clay months ago.
Also Consider: Alex De Minaur ($10,000)

Corentin Moutet ($7,400)
I’m not sure if you recall last year’s Paris Masters, but Moutet got such a lift from the home crowd in France that he nearly took a set off Novak Djokovic. There won’t be any fans this time around, but he should still feel very comfortable at home. Moutet is an accomplished hardcourt and indoor hardcourt player, holding a winning record on both surfaces; and while things haven’t exactly been looking up for him lately, Salvatore Caruso ($7,600) hasn’t exactly dominated, winning just three of his last seven matches. This is a worthwhile dart throw on a live underdog who’s got a world of talent.
Marin Cilic ($6,300)
Fading Felix Auger-Aliassime ($9,000), one of the more exciting young players on tour, is difficult for me to stomach, but it makes too much sense here. Cilic is always worth a look on indoor hardcourts, possessing nothing but power, and he has played better than his recent record would indicate. All of his losses have been razor-tight, and he’s still been pouring in aces every time he takes the court. I see him as a high-floor option for someone this cheap, and a guy who can certainly defeat a struggling FAA, coming off two-straight disappointing losses.
Others to consider: Norbert Gombos ($8,200)
