The final tennis tournament of the regular season — the Paris Masters — is heading into the second round. More of the big names that have made the trip, like Rafael Nadal ($10,500), Alex Zverev ($9,100) and Stan Wawrinka ($8,000) are in action and there are plenty of great matches to be found elsewhere on the slate. Without further ado, let’s look at who you should consider for your fantasy tennis rosters on DraftKings.
Rafael Nadal ($10,500)
Making his return to the court after a dominating win at Roland Garros, Nadal will head to the hardcourts, where he has had less success in his career, but still a decent amount. Paris is playing somewhat slower than a normal indoor hardcourt, which will help Nadal. He meets fellow Spaniard Feliciano Lopez ($4,500), who is on the last legs of his career yet still manages to put a charge into even the world’s best. While I don’t know if it will be a blowout, considering Nadal is just 9-5 in his career against Lopez, it’s hard to see Rafa not winning, considering he plays every point like his life depends on it. Lopez has had too many lackluster performances over the past season to take a set here.
Andrey Rublev ($10,300)
A fantastic pivot off of Nadal and a safe bet to win in straights on Wednesday, Rublev will bring his unique brand of ball-bashing to a match against a backboard in Radu Albot ($4,700) who struggles to produce his own power. Rublev has been scorching hot of late and should have no issue hitting the Maldovan lucky loser off the court here — he’s won 19 of his past 20 matches dating back to September and his past 10 in a row. He’s as safe as it gets.

Lorenzo Sonego ($7,000)
This could come back to bite me, but I am starting to believe in Lorenzo Sonego. His serving has been sensational over the past week and his play down break point has been incredibly calm. Alex De Minaur ($8,300) is never an easy out, but it can be quite easy to win games on his serve at times, which should at least open up the possibility for lots of points for breaks and a win for the powerful Sonego, who protects his serve much better. I can’t fade this Sonego wave at this price, his game has looked unstoppable of late.
Kevin Anderson ($6,100)
Here’s an easy to shot to take. Anderson just beat Daniil Medvedev ($8,800) a week ago and breezed through his last match due to retirement. He’ll be fresh, which is definitely important given Anderson’s age and the wear and tear on his body and he’s facing one of the coldest players on tour right now. Medvedev has had nothing short of a disappointing season and has lost five of his past eight matches. I would not surprise if he just rolls over here with his eyes on the ATP Finals, as Novak Djokovic did last week. Anderson’s been serving exceptionally and should have a great chance.
Others to consider: Richard Gasquet ($6,700)
