Madden Stream Picks: Top DraftKings Fantasy Football DFS Targets, Values for November 6

Zach Thompson gives his top studs and value plays at each position for Friday’s three-game Madden Stream DraftKings slate, which starts at 6:00 p.m. ET.

The DraftKings Dream Stream is back with a full day of six matchups on Friday afternoon and evening to help get your football weekend off to a good start. The featured three-game classic slate kicks off at 6:00 p.m. ET with a very nice matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in what could be a Super Bowl preview. In primetime, the Indianapolis Colts will go on the road and take on the Seattle Seahawks at 8:00 p.m. ET, and the night finishes out with a great NFC matchup between the New Orleans Saints and the Los Angeles Rams at 10:00 p.m. ET on Madden After Dark.

An important note to remember is that each roster is not impacted by COVID-19 opt-outs or injuries, and the highest-rated options are at the top of the depth charts. The roster for each team includes all player movement that occurred prior to Week 1 of this season, and you can find the game settings, depth charts, abilities and X-factors for each team in Madden 21 along with the upcoming schedule on the Madden Stream info page.

Check out the daily DraftKings Madden Stream contests lobby with paid contests for real cash prizes now available alongside free contests. Each simulation will be played out computer vs. computer via an online Madden Stream using Madden 21. In this format, you can enjoy watching the game stream on the DraftKings YouTube channel, the DK Live app (download here) or right here in this post.

Quarterback

Stud

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks vs. Indianapolis Colts, $8,000 — Wilson has a significantly higher salary than any other QB on this slate, but he has been by far the best play of the options available. Wilson is averaging 66.7 rushing yards and 203.0 passing yards, and he has been able to score 10 rushing touchdowns and 31 passing touchdowns in 18 sims for an average of 2.3 total touchdowns, powering him to 24.9 DKFP per contest. He had a huge game with over 100 yards rushing and 30.42 DKFP against the Chargers in his most recent sim and has over 28 DKFP in four straight sims coming into this matchup against the Colts. Wilson’s rushing ability raises both his ceiling and his floor and makes him a safe investment with a high ceiling. Even though his salary is over $1K more than any other QB in play, he’s worth paying up for if you can find value throughout the rest of your roster.

Other Option — Drew Brees ($6,700)

Value

Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, $6,000 — Brady has over 240 yards and over 15 DKFP in four of his past five games. The veteran has averaged 262.5 passing yards and totaled 24 passing touchdowns in 18 sims. He doesn’t have any of the rushing potential of Wilson, for sure, but he does have a solid group of talented pass-catchers and a high ceiling against the Steelers. Brady has had some down games lately, which is why he is so affordable, but he continues to get enough volume to bring upside.

Other Option — Jared Goff ($6,400)

Running Back

Stud

Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints at Los Angeles Rams, $7,100 — Much like Wilson at QB, Kamara is clearly the top RB on the slate and has put up dominant numbers. Unlike Wilson, though, he comes in off a pair of down games after dominating his opponents early in Madden 21. He has averaged 16.7 DKFP in his 20 contests but has only produced 3.8 DKFP and 4.9 DKFP in his two most recent games. He is averaging 52.4 rushing yards and 3.8 catches for 26.7 receiving yards per sim and has scored 15 total touchdowns. He has a very high ceiling against the Rams and can put up points in multiple ways, whether on the ground or through the air. Despite his two disappointing sims in a row, I think he’ll bounce back with a big game in this contest.

Other Options — Nyheim Hines ($6,200), Chris Carson ($5,600)

Value

Darrell Henderson Jr., Los Angeles Rams vs. New Orleans Saints, $5,000 — On the other side of that late game, Henderson has also had lots of success as a receiving back. He has been in the third-down back role for 13 games and produced three touchdowns along with averages of 21.2 rushing yards, 24.0 receiving yards and 4.0 receptions per sim. He racked up eight catches for 40 yards in his most recent sim and has at least 7.8 DKFP in six of his past seven contests. While he is no longer a bargain like he was when he first got the job, Henderson is still worth a look at this salary since he does have upside and a reliable role unlike many of the other RBs on this slate, who are in more unpredictable timeshares.

Other Options — Jaylen Samuels ($4,700), LeSean McCoy ($4,100)

Wide Receiver

Stud

JuJu Smith-Schuster, Pittsburgh Steelers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, $7,400 — Smith-Schuster has been a volatile play in Madden 21, but he has been red hot lately coming into this favorable matchup against the Bucs’ inconsistent secondary. JuJu has at least seven catches and over 15 DKFP in four of his past five games and has raised his touchdown total to 12 in his 19 contests. He usually plays out of the slot, where he’ll have a mismatch in this contest. He is coming off a nine-catch game against the Titans in which he had a pair of touchdowns and 165 yards on his way to 40.5 DKFP. While he doesn’t usually get to quite that ceiling, he has produced over 20 DKFP in eight of his 19 sims and comes with a ton of upside.

Other Options — Michael Thomas ($7,700), DK Metcalf ($7,000)

Value

Tre’Quan Smith, New Orleans Saints at Los Angeles Rams, $5,100 — Smith is the WR3 for the Saints but has been very involved opposite of Michael Thomas ($7,700) when Emmanuel Sanders ($4,500) moves into the slot. Smith has out-produced Sanders in recent sims with at least five catches in five straight games. He hasn’t hit 100 yards yet but has posted double-digit DKFP in five straight and seven of his past nine. Smith has three touchdowns during that span and six during his 19 Madden 21 sims.

Josh Reynolds, Los Angeles Rams vs. New Orleans Saints, $4,200 — Reynolds is another WR3 that has been involved enough to be a good value option. He has double-digit DKFP in five of his past six sims and is coming off back-to-back games with over 100 yards. He had two touchdowns as well in his most recent sim, going off for 33.9 DKFP against the Jets. He hasn’t been quite as consistent as Smith but has a very high ceiling for a player with a salary just barely over $4K.

Other Options — Diontae Johnson ($5,300), Tyler Lockett ($4,000), Parris Campbell ($3,700)

Tight End

Stud

Eric Ebron, Pittsburgh Steelers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, $5,400 — Ebron has found the end zone in four consecutive sims and is now up to eight touchdowns in 19 sims in Madden 21. He is averaging 4.4 catches for 45.1 yards per game over those 19 contests. He has at least 10 DKFP in eight of his past 10 sims and has gone off for a few huge performances, highlighted by his 33.9 DKFP against the Chiefs. While he probably won’t regularly reach that ceiling, the Bucs have been beatable by TEs in past matchups, so Ebron is the top option on the board.

Other Option — Jared Cook ($4,900)

Value

Trey Burton, Indianapolis Colts at Seattle Seahawks, $4,600 — With all the Colts’ TE healthy and available in Madden, Burton is the top option and has been a favorite focus of QB Philip Rivers ($5,500). Burton has at least five catches and double-digit DKFP in four straight contests and is coming off a nine-catch performance against the Vikings that netted him 15.7 DKFP. Surprisingly, he has yet to find the end zone in his Madden 21 sims, but he has been getting so much volume that he is still a very viable TE option if you can’t pay all the way up for his predecessor with the Colts, Eric Ebron ($5,400).

Other Options — Greg Olsen ($4,300), Rob Gronkowski ($3,600)

DST

Stud

Seahawks DST vs. Indianapolis Colts, $3,400 — The Seahawks have averaged over 7.0 DFKP per game due to a pair of hard-hitting X-factor superstars in Bobby Wagner and Jamal Adams. They have recovered 21 fumbles in 18 sims with a pair of interceptions, 36 sacks, a safety and four defensive touchdowns. All four of those defensive scores have come at home, where they are averaging 7.4 DKFP per contest and where they’ll play this matchup. They should be in a good spot against the Colts, who have played a lot of low-scoring games lately. Indy is averaging just 15.5 points per game over their past four and have been held under 17 points in each of their two most recent sims.

Other Option — Steelers ($2,900)

Value

Rams DST vs. New Orleans Saints, $2,800 — The Rams are led by Aaron Donald, who has one of the five perfect 99 overall ratings. CB Jalen Ramsey on the outside is another key contributor and has helped the Rams to nine takeaways and 33 sacks in 16 sims. They only have one defensive touchdown, but the Donald-led pass rush has been able to pile up multiple sacks in each of their past five sims. They haven’t forced as many turnovers as the Seahawks have, but they do have enough upside in the late game against the Saints to be the best pivot play off of Seattle. The Saints’ offense isn’t usually a matchup to attack, but it has struggled in many of their road matchups, like this one in Los Angeles.
