Most of Week 9 is in the books with just a Monday Night Football matchup between the New England Patriots and the New York Jets remaining. Before that game kicks off, the DraftKings Dream Stream is ready to roll with a solid three-game slate of Madden sims for your viewing pleasure and fantasy football enjoyment. The action starts at 12:00 p.m. ET with the Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the Atlanta Falcons. At 2:00 p.m. ET the Detroit Lions are headed for virtual Florida to take on the Miami Dolphins, and the slate closes out with the Baltimore Ravens hosting the Seattle Seahawks in a matchup of two of the best fantasy QBs in all of Madden.
An important note to remember is that each roster is not impacted by COVID-19 opt-outs or injuries, and the highest-rated options are at the top of the depth charts. The roster for each team includes all player movement that occurred prior to Week 1 of this season, and you can find the game settings, depth charts, abilities and X-factors for each team in Madden 21 along with the upcoming schedule on the Madden Stream info page.

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens vs. Seattle Seahawks, $8,400 — Jackson goes head-to-head with Russell Wilson ($8,100) in what should be a great matchup. Both QBs have been outstanding in Madden 21 and are averaging over 24 DKFP per sim. I’m giving Jackson the slight edge, though, due to matchup against the Seahawks’ defense, which makes big plays but also surrenders points. Wilson has a tougher task going against the Ravens, who don’t make big plays but have been excellent against the rush. Jackson comes in on an absolute tear, having produced over 31 DKFP in three straight sims. He has hit the 100-yard rushing bonus in six straight sims, running for four touchdowns and throwing for seven more. In his 19 sims in Madden 21, he has thrown 23 touchdowns in addition to 11 rushing scores. Jackson has had 10 fumbles but has otherwise been outstanding. Both QBs are expensive and have extremely high ceilings, so you can build around either one with confidence if you can find value in other spots.
Other Option — Russell Wilson ($8,100)
Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins vs. Detroit Lions, $6,600 — While he’s still finding his footing in the real NFL, it has been Tua time in these sims for a while. The rookie has started the past 14 contests for the virtual Dolphins, averaging 18.5 DKFP on 222.5 passing yards and 20.6 rushing yards per sim. He has thrown 24 touchdowns and run for a pair of scores as well. He gets a great matchup against the Lions, who he produced 17.64 DKFP against when he faced them earlier in these sims. Tua also played well in his most recent sim, which was against Jackson and the Ravens. He almost always throws for over 200 yards and can approach or reach 20-plus DKFP if he gets multiple touchdowns.
Other Option — Matt Ryan ($6,800)
Todd Gurley II, Atlanta Falcons vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, $6,100 — In these sims, Gurley has been the most productive RB on this slate, averaging 17.2 DKFP per contest. He has found the end zone 16 times in his 22 sims, averaging 57 rushing yards and 3.6 catches for 32.2 receiving yards per game. Gurley and the Falcons should be able to play from ahead in this game script which usually means plenty of carries for the RB1 and third-down back. Since Gurley gets all the work in the virtual Falcons backfield, he should be a very strong play at just over $6K on this slate.
Other Options — Matt Breida ($6,700), Chris Carson ($5,500)
J.K. Dobbins, Baltimore Ravens vs. Seattle Seahawks, $3,800 — The Ravens use Dobbins as both their third-down back and their power back in these sims, giving the rookie plenty of work in his timeshare with Mark Ingram ($4,900). Dobbins has averaged 7.4 DKFP per sim in his 14 games since the most recent roster update gave him an expanded role. During that span, he has averaged 18.0 rushing yards and 1.6 catches for 18.0 receiving yards per contest. He has scored four touchdowns on the sim season and has reached at least 8.0 DKFP in four of his past seven contests. He should be able to offer around that amount again in this matchup, which makes him a nice value play under $4K, who will also leave you the salary you need to get one of the elite QBs and a solid group of pass-catchers.
Other Option — Mark Ingram ($4,900), D’Andre Swift ($4,500)
Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, $7,300 — Jones has 15 touchdowns in his 21 sims, averaging 5.3 catches for 89.2 yards. He did have a down game with just one catch against Detroit two sims ago but bounced back with a much better five-catch, 20.2-DKFP performance in his most recent game. Despite a few quiet games lately, his ratings put him in a huge mismatch against the Jaguars’ struggling secondary, so look for a big game for Julio in this matchup.
Other Options — DeVante Parker ($7,000), Marquise Brown ($6,600)
DJ Chark Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars at Atlanta Falcons, $5,800 — Like in real life, the Falcons have often struggled in these sims against top WRs. While Chark hasn’t been as lights out as Jones in these sims, he has produced a solid 12.9 DKFP per game with 10 touchdowns in 19 contests and an average of 3.8 catches for 57.5 yards per sim. Chark has at least three catches in six straight sims and in 10 of his past 11. He has hauled in three touchdowns over his past two games with 21.8 DKFP against the Browns and 19.9 DKFP against the Bucs, showing he has a very high ceiling if he can get good volume from Gardner Minshew II ($6,400).
Jakeem Grant, Miami Dolphins vs. Detroit Lions, $3,800 — Grant has a 74 overall rating as the Dolphins’ WR3, but his main fantasy asset is his 95 speed rating that makes him a constant big-play threat. Grant is coming off a five-catch, 16.6-DKFP performance against the Ravens that raised his average to 9.5 DKFP per contest. He has over eight DKFP in nine of his 16 sims in Madden 21, so he has been fairly consistently involved while averaging 3.5 catches for 37.6 yards per sim and scoring six times.
Other Options — Tyler Lockett ($4,600), Danny Amendola ($4,000)
Tyler Eifert, Jacksonville Jaguars at Atlanta Falcons, $5,400 — Eifert has been a go-to option in the Jaguars’ offense in Madden 21 and has hauled in 4.8 catches for 43.4 yards per sim while scoring seven touchdowns. He has hit double-digit DKFP in five of his past six sims with three touchdowns during that span and three games with six catches or more. The volume is usually there for the Jags’ top TE and he makes a nice play if you have the salary for this spot on your roster.
Other Options — T.J. Hockenson ($5,000), Mike Gesicki ($4,700)
Hayden Hurst, Atlanta Falcons vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, $4,300 — Hurst has been a nice fit in the virtual Falcons’ offense and has averaged 3.8 catches for 46.0 yards per sim. He typically gets a little more vertical than Eifert and can do more after the catch but also receives slightly lower volume. Hurst has been reliable, though, with at least 8.5 DKFP in seven of his past eight contests. The Jaguars’ secondary is usually very beatable, so the Falcons should be able to put up points by relying on Jones, Gurley, Calvin Ridley ($6,000) and Hurst.
Other Option — Greg Olsen ($4,500)
Seahawks DST at Baltimore Ravens, $3,200 — The Seahawks do have to deal with Jackson, but they also have the potential to capitalize on his tendency to fumble. Seattle has given up points and yards in these sims but has also consistently made big plays. The defense has recovered 24 fumbles in 19 sims while adding 39 sacks, two interceptions and four defensive touchdowns. The Seahawks are led by the hard-hitting duo of Bobby Wagner and Jamal Adams, which has game-breaking potential on every play they’re involved in.
Other Option — Falcons ($3,100)
Dolphins DST vs. Detroit Lions, $2,600 — The Dolphins are the most affordable DST on this slate, but they also come with plenty of upside in this matchup with Detroit. They have been able to pile up 33 sacks and five takeaways in their 20 contests and have been pretty solid at home in virtual Hard Rock Stadium, where they have averaged 4.8 DKFP per sim.
