After the AFC North gave us one of the games of the year last week between the Brown and Ravens, we get something a little bit different this time around. The Steelers will look to snap a two-game losing streak as a two-touchdown road favorite against a dreadful Bengals squad. Here’s what jumps out for Monday on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Not much jumps out to me in this game, but if we want to play it safe we should see a convincing Pittsburgh victory, although it may not take many points. The Steelers won the first go-around between these two teams, 36-10, and that was with Joe Burrow on the field back in Week 10. Pittsburgh needs to break a two-game losing streak and this is a good matchup for the passing game to get back on track. Rather than a 6-point teaser at similar odds, this gets us 7.5 points on the spread and 8.5 points on the total. For the spread, it gets us through key numbers like 10 and 7. For the total, it gets us up to a comfortable number, just in case the Steelers do go off on offense. The Bengals are averaging just 10 points per game over the past five games, so it’s tough to imagine we’ll see much out of this offense.
One of the reasons to be so down on Cincy’s offense is Finley, who will get the start at QB. Prior to getting injured, Brandon Allen had been seeing most of the snaps since Burrow went down, throwing for just 136 yards against the Giants and 153 yards against the Dolphins. Allen did put up 217 yards last week, but that came while playing from way behind against an awful Dallas defense. Back in Week 10, Burrow managed only 213 yards against this Pittsburgh defense and he was on pace for a rookie record when it came to yardage at that stage of the season. I can’t tell you much about Finley, but he’s not good. Since Burrow went down, we’ve seen Finley go 10-for-19 for 75 yards and two interceptions. Good luck against one of the NFL’s top defenses.

Again, the Bengals are not in good shape at this stage, and this is just another way to fade them. Going back to the 36-10 loss to the Steelers with Burrow under center, the Bengals have scored just 40 total points in the following four games, putting their average over the past five games at just 10 points per game. Cincy has totaled just seven points in each of its past two games and last week they faced a suspect Dallas defense. It’s tough to imagine going to Finley is going to improve anything for Cincy. Outside of the Bengals in Week 10, the Steelers have also held the Browns and Jags to less than 13 points.
