‘Tis the season for Saturday NFL slates on DraftKings! In Week 16, we’ll get a solid three-game slate with some meaningful games. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit the Detroit Lions, the San Francisco 49ers play the Arizona Cardinals and the Miami Dolphins get the Las Vegas Raiders in the night cap. Let’s dive into the top targets, along with value to help you save some salary.

Quarterback

Expensive

Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions ($6,800) — Paying up for Kyler Murray ($7,500) is tempting, but Brady is in the better matchup. The Lions rank just 28th in DKFP allowed to the QB position, getting shredded by whoever is in front of them week after week. Brady has shown a high ceiling, topping 30 DKFP a few times this season, and is coming off 26.4 DKFP against the Falcons. He’s still fine slinging it when he needs to.

Cheap

C.J. Beathard, San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals ($5,000) — It feels pretty gross to drop all the way down to Beathard with solid QB options on this slate. But he’s very cheap and the matchup is favorable. The 49ers are playing with house money and have nothing to lose, so might as well try and put up some numbers against the Cardinals, who rank 30th in DKFP allowed to QB.

Other Options: Tua Tagovailoa ($5,400)

Running Back

Expensive

Josh Jacobs, Las Vegas Raiders vs. Miami Dolphins ($6,600) — It’s a tough slate for RBs, but Jacobs is the most reliable option we can count on for volume. He handled 29 touches on TNF against the Chargers, and has had plenty of time to rest for for this game. Miami has a good run defense, but we can’t find guaranteed volume like this anywhere else.

Cheap

Leonard Fournette, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions ($5,500) — Fournette wasn’t able to take advantage of the matchup against the Falcons. But thanks to two touchdowns, he still scored 21.5 DKFP. Game script was working against Fournette from the start, but now facing Detroit’s 31st-ranked run defense, Uncle Leo can put up some big numbers.

Other Options: Jeff Wilson ($5,000)

Wide Receiver

Expensive

DeAndre Hopkins, Arizona Cardinals vs. San Francisco 49ers ($8,300) — Hopkins shredded Philly’s run down secondary for 9-169-1 (34 DKFP) last week, and gets another good matchup this week. The 49ers rank around the middle of the pack against wide receivers, but the defense is completely destroyed and let up 41 to the Cowboys last week. Murray and Hopkins should feast. Tampa’s top WRs should also work fine as mid-priced plays.

Cheap

Marvin Jones, Detroit Lions vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($4,900) — DraftKings does a phenomenal job with pricing, but something is wrong with how Jones is priced this week. Jones broke out for a 10-112-1 line (30.2 DKFP) against the Titans last week, and now faces a Tampa secondary allowing the fourth-most DKFP to the WR position. Lock in the chalk.

Other Options: Antonio Brown ($5,300)

Tight End

Expensive

Darren Waller, Las Vegas Raiders vs. Miami Dolphins ($7,000) — TE has been a mess all season, so on a slate where we don’t have to burn too much salary on studs, we can afford to pay up for Waller. The matchup isn’t the best, but there’s a high ceiling here with Waller going off for 33 and 48 DKFP in two of his last three games.

Cheap

George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals ($5,000) — Well, what a surprise! We weren’t expecting Kittle to see the field again, but he’ll suit up at by far his cheapest price point of the season. It remains to be seen exactly how healthy he is, but if there aren’t limitations, there should be a large target share here.

Other Options: Dan Arnold ($3,200)

D/ST

Expensive

Miami Dolphins D/ST ($4,000) at Las Vegas Raiders — The Dolphins are the best defense on the slate, and will face a Raiders offense playing either a banged-up starter or a backup. I’d prefer not to pay up, but this D/ST is averaging well over 10 DKFP in the last four outings.

Cheap

Arizona Cardinals D/ST ($3,300) vs. San Francisco 49ers — The 49ers are very banged up, even with Kittle in. Arizona has been surprisingly good on defense recently, scoring 10 DKFP vs. Philly and 18 DKFP vs. the Giants.
