Fantasy Football QB-WR Stacks: Top DraftKings NFL DFS Quarterback-Wide Receiver Picks for Week 13

Matt Meiselman gives his top QB and WR stacks to consider on DraftKings for Week 13’s main NFL slate, which locks at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Welcome to Week 13’s top fantasy football stacks analysis, where we’ll look at some of the best passing game options to consider for Sunday’s main DraftKings NFL slate. The concept to care about here is that quarterbacks and wide receivers generally have correlated fantasy point totals, meaning that one of them scoring points corresponds to the chances of the other one scoring points. For GPPs, we’ll want to keep an eye on ownership estimates, too, so the goal is to present a comprehensive breakdown of which passing game combinations could provide an edge in those DraftKings DFS tournaments.

5. Aaron Rodgers ($6,800)/Davante Adams ($9,000), Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Packers are sizable favorites this week against a sputtering Eagles team, but it’s unclear what kind of matchup quality this will actually be. The Eagles were rumored to be turning more to Jalen Hurts ($5,300) last week — which they ultimately didn’t really do — and more of Hurts would probably actually hurt the Packers stack here as it would likely result in more rushing attempts and more time coming off the clock. The Eagles’ pass defense is nothing to worry about on its own, so even in a slower-paced game, there should still be plenty of chances for Rodgers and Adams to put up big numbers this week.

4. Mitch Trubisky ($5,400)/Allen Robinson ($6,700), Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions

The Bears struggled against the Packers last week, but even in a subpar game, they still put up plenty of fantasy points. The Trubisky-to-Robinson connection should again be a major part of the Bears’ offense this week, and the matchup couldn’t be much easier at home against the Lions. Trubisky and Robinson might actually be somewhat popular, but the prices are just too low for such a high-quality matchup. On top of that, David Montgomery ($5,500) could wind up as Week 13’s most popular running back, so choosing passing game options instead in GPPs could be a way to get some leverage on the field.

3. Kyler Murray ($7,600)/DeAndre Hopkins ($7,800), Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams

Murray and Hopkins continue to be a very expensive duo to roster, but the upside is always present regardless of the opponent. This week’s matchup against the Rams isn’t ideal, but that also means ownership is likely to be very low. The Cardinals’ offense struggled last week in a pretty easy matchup against the Patriots, and while it’s concerning to see Murray throw for just 170 yards, that also should help lower this week’s ownership even more.

2. Matt Ryan ($5,600)/Calvin Ridley ($7,200)/Julio Jones ($6,600), Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints

Speaking of games with low ownership, the Saints and Falcons seem like the two most overlooked teams of Week 13 by a significant margin. These two teams have both been a part of some low fantasy outputs in the past two weeks, with a 24-9 final when they met two weeks ago. The Falcons went on to win 43-6 against the Raiders in Week 12, with the blowout resulting in lower production from the passing game, so the recent fantasy performance hasn’t been ideal. Having said that, the receivers on this team always make for high-upside plays, and the prices are reasonable with Matt Ryan under $6K.

1. Taysom Hill ($6,300)/Michael Thomas ($7,000), New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons

On the other side of this game, the Saints have played two straight weeks without allowing a touchdown and have only allowed one touchdown across their past four. Hill playing quarterback obviously hurts receiver production, but the stellar defensive play which has caused more conservative play-calling at the end of games has been just as problematic. There’s no guarantee that the Falcons can keep pace this week, but if they do, the upside for Thomas at his $7K price tag is definitely present. Hill himself has become a decent weekly option as well, as his rushing potential puts him in GPP consideration regardless.
