Captain

Michail Antonio ($18,300)

It was famine then feast for Antonio. He scored four goals in a 4-0 win against Norwich on Saturday to lead West Ham United to a crucial three points. It was the manner of those goals that would have impressed his management, darting through defenses with speed and finishing with incredible composure. His price has soared on DraftKings to the point he is the most expensive player on this slate.

Others to consider: Troy Deeney ($13,200)

High-priced flex options

Troy Deeney ($8,800)

Deeney was the beneficiary of two poor tackles in the box in Watford’s previous game against Newcastle. He converted both spot kicks to carry Watford a step closer to Premier League safety. He admitted later on that they were pressure kicks but he held his own under immense duress. Watford will want something similar on Friday.

Ismaila Sarr ($9,400)

Sarr has been a nightmare for flanking defenders, mostly left backs because he occupies the right wing. In total, he has scored five goals this season along with three assists. He provides plenty of intangible value too because he generates depth and speed to open defenses up, allowing Watford’s central strikers to make runs towards the six-yard box.

Jarrod Bowen ($11,400)

Bowen hasn’t done too much for West Ham from a tangible standpoint (one goal and three assists). However, he has been quite steady in the middle of the field for West Ham, providing solidity to a team that desperately needs it. His price is a bit rich for fantasy, but he has the highest fantasy average among both teams with 13.7 DKFP per game.

Others to consider: Andriy Yarmolenko ($9,000).

Value flex options

Danny Welbeck ($7,600)

Welbeck has a new lease on soccer. He has moved around from club to club. Now, he will be entrusted with carrying Watford to safety, a task he will be relatively unfamiliar with having spent a large chunk of his career with Arsenal. His overhead bicycle goal against Norwich City was a season-turning moment for Watford because it has inspired them with so much confidence.

Aaron Cresswell ($7,200)

Relegation battles don’t get much bigger. Bournemouth and Aston Villa have picked up their game, which has subsequently forced Watford and West Ham to do so as well. Watford has scored just 33 goals this season, third fewest in the Premier League. Considering West Ham is at home, it wouldn’t be farfetched to suggest a rare clean sheet could be in the offing.

Others to consider: Tomas Soucek ($6,400)
