Captain

Kevin De Bruyne ($17,400)

De Bruyne started on the bench against Bournemouth as he was being rested for this FA Cup semifinal against Arsenal. He hasn’t played a lot of FA Cup soccer this year because of workload management but now with a title on the line, Pep Guardiola should bring back his most incisive offensive weapon back into the starting XI on Saturday.

Others to consider: Raheem Sterling ($15,600)

High-priced flex options

Raheem Sterling ($10,400)

Sterling has found a nice little patch of form after stuttering through the majority of the first half of 2020. He didn’t have a goal this calendar year prior to Project Restart in the Premier League. In fact, he broke his drought with a goal against Arsenal on the first night back. Now he has several, including a hat trick against Brighton. He was on the bench against Bournemouth and should return to the starting XI to occupy a striker role.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ($9,000)

Aubameyang, like many of Arsenal’s stars, hasn’t participated in much FA Cup soccer this season. This is understandable considering Arsenal’s struggles in the EPL. However, manager Mikel Arteta will need his captain against one of the most explosive teams in the world. Aubameyang has hit some good form as well in the Premier League, which could translate into some precision in this crucial fixture.

Riyad Mahrez ($10,000)

While Mahrez has been rotated in and out of Manchester City’s lineup, it hasn’t impacted his form much. Such rotations can often influence a player’s momentum but Mahrez has actually used the additional rest to his benefit. His speed and ball control, particularly on the right wing, has been a nightmare for defenses. David Luiz will attest to that. He was troubled immensely by Mahrez when these sides met in the first game back from the lockdown.

Others to consider: Gabriel Jesus ($9,600).

Value flex options

Nicolas Pepe ($8,400)

Pepe had promised a lot but has been a bit under the radar in these past few weeks. He had scored a terrific goal with his strong left foot against Brighton, but Alexandre Lacazette ($7,000) and Aubameyang have stolen the spotlight. His rest and freshness could be a factor if he is part of the matchday squad. It might be prudent to check the lineups before lock to ensure he is playing.

David Silva ($6,600)

Silva has been a dead-ball star in these past few games for Manchester City. This is his last season for a club he has spent the best part of a decade with. He has scored two sensational free-kick goals in the EPL, too. Considering his form, it might be hard to leave him out despite De Bruyne being expected to start in this game.

Others to consider: Alexandre Lacazette ($7,000)
