Greg Ehrenberg gives his top studs and value plays at each position for Monday’s three-game late Madden Stream slate on DraftKings, which starts at 6:00 p.m. ET.

We’re all in need of some entertainment during these times of the unknown. DraftKings is doing its part by offering Madden simulations with a variety of teams going at it. For this piece, we’ll focus on the three-game late slate on Monday, which starts at 6:00 p.m. ET.

Lamar Jackson, BAL at SEA ($7,600)

Quarterback is a loaded position tonight. Not only is Jackson on the slate, we also have Russell Wilson ($8,000), and Patrick Mahomes ($8,200) as options. All three have been fantastic fantasy producers in Madden and none make for a bad choice but I’ll side with Jackson since he has the cheapest salary of the trio. I always love the rushing upside of Jackson and he has scored at least 33 DKFP in three of his past four games.

Aaron Rodgers, GB vs. KC ($7,200)

I am a bit hamstrung here since there aren’t any actual cheap QB options on the slate. Outside of the three studs mentioned above, the other three choices are Rodgers, Drew Brees ($7,800) and Tom Brady ($7,400). Since none of the backups see playing time, I don’t actually have a cheap player at quarterback to consider. Rodgers is the cheap play at the position although he’s only $400 cheaper than Jackson. For this reason, he’s not somebody that I am seriously considering. Rodgers averages 17.1 DKFP and we can get much better average production by spending a bit more salary.

Running Backs

Alvin Kamara, NO vs. NE ($6,400)

The matchup against the Patriots is less than ideal for Kamara although he still stands out since the options at running back are weak tonight. In addition, we have seen Kamara have some big games against tough defenses, including recent strong performances against the Chargers (30.3 DKFP) and the Bills (45.8 DKFP). Kamara gets enough work in the passing game that he can usually put up a big PPR performance regardless of the opponent. He’s coming off a game where he caught nine passes for 131 yards out of the backfield.

Damien Williams, KC at GB ($5,000)

Williams’ role in real life is in question after the Chiefs drafted Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the first round of the NFL Draft. In Madden, this isn’t a concern and Williams is a workhorse back in a strong offense. This has allowed him to average 13.6 DKFP with 2,189 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns in our sims.

Wide Receivers

Tyreek Hill, KC at GB ($7,800)

Since we have some great quarterbacks playing tonight, we also have really strong options at wide receiver. The strongest of which is Hill in my opinion. While Michael Thomas ($8,000) is usually the top option on most slates that he’s on, he may end up drawing coverage from Stephon Gilmore tonight. This makes Hill a bit of a safer play with more upside. The speedy wideout averages 18.9 DKFP and has 13 touchdowns in his past 10 games.

Mohamed Sanu, NE at NO ($4,000)

In real life, the Patriots trading a second-round pick for Sanu didn’t work out. In Madden, the move is paying dividends. Sanu has been one of the stronger value options at wide receiver, averaging 12.9 DKFP at a consistently cheap price. With 1,995 total receiving yards, he should eclipse the 2,000 mark tonight. Last game, Sanu scored 26.1 DKFP on eight catches for 152 yards.

Tight Ends

Jared Cook, NO vs. NE ($5,400)

It might seem tough to believe it, but Cook is averaging more DKFP in our sims than Travis Kelce ($6,000). For $600 cheaper, the value of Cook is more appealing on a slate loaded with stars to pay up for. Cook has gotten a crazy amount of targets in Madden. He has at least five receptions in six consecutive games and has scored touchdowns in four straight.

Ben Watson, NE at NO ($4,800)

Per dollar, Watson is always the best option at tight end whenever the Patriots play. Their offense seems to be geared towards tight ends, leading to big results for Watson. Even though he’s retired in real life, he’s still going strong in simland. Watson averages 15 DKFP and has caught 187 passes for 2,352 yards. He’s also scored over 20 DKFP in back-to-back games.

Defense/Special Teams

Ravens DST at SEA ($2,300)

I can’t really make a case for any defense tonight. Since so many elite quarterbacks are in action, I doubt any defense will produce many fantasy points. It’s actually possible that all of them score 0 DKFP. For this reason, I think going with the Ravens’ DST makes the most sense since Baltimore is the cheapest option on the slate.
