Captain

Nani ($16,200)

Nani has been required to lead the Orlando City lineup because he is one of the most experienced players in this game. He has played for some of the biggest clubs in the world on some of the biggest stages. He even scored in the tournament opener in the seventh minute of injury time. He will be tasked with taking charge of the important plays too.

Others to consider: Kacper Przybylko ($14,700)

High-priced flex options

Kacper Przybylko ($9,800)

Przybylko scored the important goal in Philadelphia’s 2-1 win against Inter Miami. He was even given the entire duration on the pitch in that game. Considering that form and the trust he has with his management, he will be a crucial fantasy pick. Also, this could be a high-scoring contest and Przybylko could benefit from that.

Sergio Santos ($9,200)

Santos brings his Brazilian flair to the MLS. He had scored four goals in the previous season. He hasn’t really kickstarted his MLS is Back campaign yet but there is plenty of talent to back. He has even averaged 9.9 DKFP per game. He was substituted in the second half of the game against Inter Miami.

Chris Mueller ($8,200)

In Orlando City’s 3-1 win against New York City in the previous game, Mueller scored two goals before he was taken off, having done his job well. He has been a bright spark in Orlando’s midfield from the right wing. He leads the fantasy production on this slate with 20.3 DKFP per game, the only player to average more than 20 fantasy points per contest.

Others to consider: Brenden Aaronson ($7,600)

Value flex options

Mauricio Pereyra ($7,000)

Pereyra was given a yellow card and subsequently taken off by his manager against New York City. There isn’t a massive bank of goals to justify his selection. However, he occupies a vital position in Orlando’s formation, playing just behind the solitary striker in a 4-2-3-1 formation. His price is quite affordable for such a pivotal role too.

Dom Dwyer ($6,400)

Dwyer played as the lone forward against New York City. Like Pereyra, Dwyer hasn’t done much in the past two contests. He scored seven goals for Orlando City in the 2019-20 season. He has been entrusted again with a key position. In this season so far, he has yet to score a goal, but he does have an assist.

Others to consider: Pedro Gallese ($5,800)
