After a FA Cup semi-final loss on Saturday against Arsenal, there isn’t a lot at stake as the season draws to a close for Manchester City. Watford, meanwhile, has to avoid relegation in a tight battle at the bottom of the table. Will City field the full-strength squad? Will Watford be able to break through? We break down Tuesday’s DraftKings EPL Showdown game below.

Riyad Mahrez ($15,600)

Mahrez is the preferred choice for Captain because it’s unlikely Manchester City will begin with their full-strength squad. De Bruyne played the entire game at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal. That was only two days back. Even though Mahrez also played, he was taken off early, which could mean he gets the start on the road against Watford.

Others to consider: Kevin De Bruyne ($18,300)

High-priced flex options

Gabriel Jesus ($10,400)

Jesus has stepped up in Sergio Aguero’s absence. He has been given plenty of time on the pitch by manager Pep Guardiola as well. He has scored 13 goals in the Premier League this season, not bad for a player that has spent the majority of the early season on the bench. He has been composed in front of goal whenever he has been fed an opportunity, slotting the ball easily in either bottom corner with enviable ease.

Bernardo Silva ($9,000)

With Manchester City playing so many games in such a short duration, Guardiola will have to dig deep into his reserves to find fresh players. One of those might be Bernardo Silva, who hasn’t played much with David Silva’s fine form. He should return to the starting XI. Against a Watford defense that hasn’t done much this season, he might be the beneficiary.

Phil Foden ($8,400)

Watford might face the wrath of a City team hurting after a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal, which eliminated the favorites from the FA Cup. Foden came on as a substitute in that game, showcasing why he is so highly regarded by Pep and the City management. He has scored a few delightful goals after the EPL resumption, including against Liverpool. I suspect he will get the start here and David Silva will sit.

Others to consider: Raheem Sterling ($11,000).

Value flex options

Ismaila Sarr ($8,000)

Staying in the Premier League is reason enough for Watford to pick themselves up at home against one of the best teams in English soccer. Sarr has been a key figure in Watford’s attack down the right flank. He has troubled defenders with his pace and work ethic, earning several corners by forcing the ball out. These are subtle factors but might play a big part against a quality team.

Ederson ($6,400)

Ederson hasn’t been needed much since Project Restart. City has been thoroughly dominant at home in the EPL, with Ederson not even needed to make a save on several occasions. He will be needed here though against a desperate Watford team. This might not be a rout, but I’d still back Ederson to keep a clean sheet.

Others to consider: Troy Deeney ($7,000)
