Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ($16,200)

An initial disclaimer to start. Aubameyang scored two goals in the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City on Saturday to put Arsenal through to the final. He gave his absolute everything in that game, which means he may not have much in the tank to start this game. If he does start though, he will be an easy choice for Captain. You don’t have to look back too far to see why. His composure and finishing prowess was incredible to watch.

Others to consider: Alexandre Lacazette ($13,200)

High-priced flex options

Alexandre Lacazette ($8,800)

While Lacazette didn’t contribute in a tangible form against Manchester City, he was pivotal in midfield, playing the right ball and making the pass early enough to ensure his colleagues wouldn’t be caught offside. He has scored some delightful goals in the Premier League too, including a spectacular long-range effort in the North London derby against Tottenham earlier in the month.

Jack Grealish ($10,400)

Grealish’s quick feet have caught out many opponents. He plays the ball quicker than expected, which leads to him being fouled more than most players in the Premier League. He then takes those setpieces. He even puts himself in advantageous positions around the box to pounce on any opportunity. Interestingly, he has the highest fantasy output among both teams, averaging 16.4 DKFP per game.

Bukayo Saka ($8,400)

Saka scored a lovely goal against Wolves earlier this month. That goal was a clear indicator of his prowess and why Arsenal has invested so much in this young player. Now, consistency and stability will be the next factors for Arsenal to analyze. This is a great time to test those attributes. He should get the start for a tired Arsenal team on account of his relative freshness.

Others to consider: Conor Hourihane ($9,400)

Value flex options

Eddie Nketiah ($7,600)

Nketiah hasn’t been given much playing time after his goal against Southampton after the resumption of the Premier League. He was sent off for a rash tackle against Leicester City, which resulted in a 1-1 draw. Manager Mikel Arteta might not have much choice but to back the young striker despite some questionable plays through the last few weeks.

Emiliano Martinez ($7,000)

Martinez was solid in the face of a mounting Manchester City attack. He absorbed some of that pressure, eventually keeping a clean sheet against a full-strength City team. Not many keepers can boast of that achievement this year. He has been a rather reliable wall for Arsenal after the unfortunate injury to Bernd Leno in the game against Brighton. Against Aston Villa, a team that doesn’t score too many, Martinez could keep another clean sheet.

Others to consider: Pepe Reina ($5,800)
