We’re all in need of some entertainment during these times of the unknown. DraftKings is doing its part by offering Madden simulations with a variety of teams going at it. For this piece, we’ll focus on the three-game late slate on Tuesday, which starts at 6:00 p.m. ET.
Josh Allen, BUF vs. DAL ($6,200)
With no targets priced over $6,800 and no standout matchups, the two cheapest QBs on the slate jump right out as the strongest plays. Allen averages over 18 DKFP in the sims and came up just short of 20 DKFP in the last sim he faced against Dallas — thanks to 80 rushing yards. Allen’s ability to run the ball gives him a safe floor, and the matchup against the Dallas secondary is a favorable one for him to hit a deep ball with his 99 arm strength.
Mitchell Trubisky, CHI at TEN ($5,900)
It’s becoming normal for Trubisky to be the cheapest QB on a classic slate despite leading all QB on the slate in DKFP average (20.3). Trubisky is another safe play with a high rushing ceiling, and he threw for over 250 yards and two touchdowns in his last sim against Tennessee.
Ezekiel Elliott, DAL at BUF ($7,200)
There’s two every-down backs to select from on this slate, and with the QB value and no must-play WRs, we can probably just roster ‘Zeke and Miles Sanders ($6,800). Both essentially average 16 DKFP, but Elliott played better in this sim matchup earlier in the season and is a bit more consistent. The honest answer is that they’re similar plays and we can easily roster both to maximize upside.
Tarik Cohen, CHI at TEN ($4,800)
If you do need some RB value, Cohen is probably the best play of the slim pickings. He recently scored his 15th touchdown of the sims en route to 18 DKFP against the Steelers. He has great touchdown upside for an RB2 and Cohen plays a significant role in the passing game, helping his floor.
Other value options: James Conner ($4,400), Dion Lewis ($3,900)

JuJu Smith-Schuster, PIT at PHI ($7,600)
There isn’t a stud WR in a smash spot on this late slate, but JuJu is the best play on the board. He had an above average sim recently in this matchup, scoring 15.5 DKFP and hauling in a bomb for a touchdown. JuJu is also a high-ceiling play, hitting for over 30 DKFP three times so far in the sims.
Corey Davis, TEN vs CHI ($3,800)
Davis has been on a great run recently, scoring double-digit DKFP in 11 of his last 14 sims. He’s an incredibly consistent option, yet his salary keeps dropping back below $4,000. Davis performed well in his previous sim against the Bears, posting a 4-47-1 line for 14.7 DKFP.
Other value options: Nelson Agholor ($3,900), James Washington ($3,100)
Zach Ertz, PHI vs. PIT ($5,800)
I don’t necessarily feel Ertz is a great bang for your buck, but he’s also fairly priced, and this is the type of slate we should have some extra salary to roster him. He’s still the top overall TE play, averaging 14 DKFP. Ertz had six receptions last time out against Pittsburgh, tied for his high since Week 25. This is a matchup that has been favorable for TE plays.
Tyler Kroft, BUF vs. DAL ($3,600)
Kroft is the cheapest of the six starting TE plays but nearly as strong a play as the top of the field. He’s averaging just shy of 10 DKFP and has actually been producing more as the sim season progresses. Kroft had seven grabs for 70 yards in his last sim against Dallas.
Other value options: Jason Witten ($4,200)
Cowboys DST at BUF ($2,800)
The Cowboys have surprisingly been very strong defensively in the sims, averaging a slate high 6.5 DKFP. While Allen can get you points with his legs, the Buffalo offense is still pretty limited when it comes to scoring.
Bears DST at TEN ($2,500)
The Bears have plenty of playmakers on defense and that led to six sacks the last sim between these two teams. I’ll target that upside again and hope a big turnover can really make the Bears’ DST one of the slate’s top values.
