6:00 p.m. ET (GOLF) Bryson DeChambeau wins the Rocket Mortgage Classic

He has been the talk of the PGA Tour since the restart after bulking up during the quarantine, and now DeChambeau ($11,700; 146 DKFP) has a win to back up his improved physique and distance off the tee. His started the final round three shots behind Matthew Wolff ($6,800 132.5 DKFP), who faded with just a -1 on the day while DeChambeau fired -7 to get to -23 for the tournament. He had a few missteps in the middle holes but finished strong with three straight birdies to win by three strokes. It was DeChambeau’s sixth win on the PGA Tour, with his most recent victory before this week coming at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in November 2018. He has finished in the top 10 in each of the four events since the PGA Tour restarted. — Zach Thompson

2:33 p.m. ET (MMA) Report: Negotiations for Masvidal vs. Usman at UFC 251 done pending a COVID-19 test

Negotiations for the Kamaru Usman vs. Jorge Masvidal fight to take place are done pending a COVID-19 test and both men are on their way to Las Vegas, according to Ariel Helwani of ESPN. If all goes according to plan, Masvidal will be taking the place of Gilbert Burns in the welterweight main event after Burns tweeted on Saturday that he wasn’t feeling well. Both Usman and Masvidal will have to quarantine while awaiting results of the COVID test. If both produce a negative result, they’ll then fly to Abu Dhabi, where the UFC Fight Island is located. This would be the first fight for both men in 2020 with Masvidal last defeating Nate Diaz in November 2019 and Usman winning over Colby Covington. — Steve Buchanan
