We are down to the final four of Europe’s elite club competition with two German sides and two French sides battling it out to be crowned champions on Sunday. Here’s what stands out to me on DraftKings Sportsbook for the two semi-finals.

DraftKings users can get in on the action by betting on DraftKings Sportsbook or by downloading the DK Sportsbook app.

RB Leipzig vs. Paris Saint-Germain: ML PSG win (-132)

These two sides have never met in European action before and the Germans will start as underdogs for the third time in this season’s competition (1-1-0). After beating Atletico Madrid on Thursday, few inside the Leipzig bubble will have any doubts they can add the French giants to their list of scalps. Both sides won their quarterfinals 2-1 and over 2.5 total goals is a bet worth considering in this tie. Four of the last five Champions League ties for both Leipzig and PSG have seen three or more total goals scored, with the majority of those coming in the second half. With the attacking options available to PSG, they will be expected to progress to Sunday’s final. Six of PSG’s seven wins have been to nil (+225), which is another bet that could land especially if the Ligue 1 side finds their groove early.

RB Leipzig vs. Paris Saint-Germain: Mauro Icardi to score first (+460)

Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are the stars of this Paris Saint-Germain team, but it’s Mauro Icardi who has been the spark for the French side throughout this run to the final four. Argentina forward Icardi has scored five times in this season’s competition, which is the same number as Mbappe and two more than Neymar. Four of Icardi’s five efforts have been the opening goals in ties and he offers better value in the first scorer market (+450) than his team-mates Neymar (+410) and Mbappe (+375). For the Germans, Patrik Schick (+800) leads the market to score the game’s first goal.

Bayern Munich vs. Lyon: Over 3.5 total goals (-120)

Bayern’s 8-2 destruction of Barcelona took the total goals scored in their nine Champions League ties this season to a remarkable 47, which works out at an average of 5.22 goals a game - and a goal every 17 minutes. It’s up to Lyon to find a way of slowing down the Munich machine that scores an average of 4.33 goals in Europe this campaign. The French side should not be underestimated after ending the hopes of Juventus and Manchester City in their last two elimination rounds. There is a very good chance over 2.5 total goals will land in this tie, which Bayern could manage on their own if they are in the mood. Bayern will want to make this an open game like they did in their quarterfinal, and with that in mind, I’m going for over 3.5 total goals, which offers better value. ‘Both teams to score’ has landed in both sides’ last two European ties and BTTS (-134) could well happen again behind closed doors in Lisbon.

Bayern Munich vs. Lyon: Robert Lewandowski to score first (+215)

Bayern forward Robert Lewandowski took his total of goals in this season’s competition to 14 on Friday night and maintained his record of scoring in every Champions League game he has featured in this season. The biggest surprise against Barcelona was that Lewandowski only bagged one of the eight goals his side scored, although he registered an assist to deliver the scoring pass for Thomas Muller to open the scoring in the fourth minute. Lewandowski had to wait until the 83rd minute to get his name on the scoresheet. Eleven of his 14 Champions League goals have come in the second half, with five coming in the final 15 minutes of matches, which has been one of Bayern’s strengths getting to the semifinals. Over a third of their 39 goals have come in the final 15 minutes of ties, including three against Barca, so don’t be surprised if we see a late goal in this tie.
