Captain

Robert Lewandowski ($19,200)

As Bayern Munich continued to steamroll Barcelona, Lewandowski had not scored. However, when a team scores eight, the best player will eventually find the net. Lewandowski did towards the end of the game with a free header. He quite comfortably finished the Bundesliga as the highest goal-scorer. He is likely to add to his European tally on Wednesday.

Others to consider: Serge Gnabry ($14,700)

High-priced flex options

Serge Gnabry ($9,800)

Gnabry used all his dribbling skill and technique to skip easily past Barcelona’s tired defenders and score. He also assisted a goal. He has averaged 21 DKFP per game, second highest on this slate. His form, rhythm and acumen has aided Bayern in quick transition plays.

Thomas Muller ($9,200)

Muller was unstoppable in the box against Barcelona. He made just a little bit of room to open the scoring. He followed that up with a one-touch finish inside the six-yard box after receiving Joshua Kimmich’s early delivery. While all the spotlight has fallen on Lewandowski and Gnabry, Muller has thrived on the opportunities he has received.

Ivan Perisic ($8,800)

Perisic is another player that has benefited from the long hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. He seems well rested and refreshed, and that is seen in his quick movement down the flanks. He also scored against Barcelona before he was substituted in the second half. It’s likely manager Hans Dieter-Flick will use his momentum by giving him another start.

Other to consider: Philippe Coutinho ($10,600).

Value flex options

Memphis Depay ($8,400)

If Lyon is to have any chance against the quick-moving offense of Bayern Munich, it will be on the counter-attack. Bayern presses so high up the pitch that there will be opportunities on the break, like in the previous game when Barcelona scored two goals. Depay will need to convert any chance into a goal. He has the skill, experience and form to do that against arguably the best club team in the world right now.

Joshua Kimmich ($8,000)

Kimmich is still listed as a defender on DraftKings. His role has changed now as he has moved a lot further up the pitch. He scored and assisted against Barcelona, using the width along the flanks as well as well-timed driving runs inside the box to make his offensive contributions. He is probably the most valuable player on this slate.

Others to consider: Alphonso Davies ($7,000)
