MLB Best Bets is off to a solid start after four articles, going 11-7-1 for +3.3 units. Here’s what stands out to me on DraftKings Sportsbook for Tuesday’s MLB betting card.

Cleveland Indians at Cincinnati Reds
CLE ML (-157)
This is just too short a price on Shane Bieber, who’s been absolutely lights out this season for Cleveland. In 14 total innings against the Royals and Twins, Bieber’s allowed seven total hits with just one walk, punching out 27 batters. Cleveland’s won both games in shutouts. Bieber ramped it up to eight innings in his second start against Minnesota, one of the best offenses in baseball, so I don’t think we need to worry about him not being able to go deep in this one. Bieber pitched eight innings and allowing two runs in a win over the Reds in 2019. Cincinnati’s Tyler Mahle had a decent first start against the Cubs, allowing two runs in four innings. But Mahle was just 3-12 with a 5.14 ERA in 2019, including starting with an 11-1 loss against Cleveland.
Cleveland Indians at Cincinnati Reds
CLE ML — First 5 Innings (-177)
Given the dominance in the starting pitching department, I think the price is still short here on the first five. There’s a good chance Bieber can get through five scoreless, so I don’t think we’ll need much production from the Cleveland offense to get this one done. The Indians scored four runs in the first five innings of their win against Mahle last season. Piling on a good spot for a dominant pitcher.
Chicago White Sox at Milwaukee Brewers
CWS ML (+120)
Lucas Giolito got blown up in his first start of the season with Chicago, and I think he’s still being undervalued because of that. Giolito really struggled against the Twins last season, and they burned him again for seven runs on Opening Day this year. He bounced back well in his second start this season, limiting Cleveland to four hits and no runs in a 4-0 victory. Milwaukee’s Brandon Woodruff has pitched well at home, but faced just the Cubs and Pirates thus far in 2020. The White Sox bats are a completely different animal, ranking in the top-five in baseball with 5.6 runs per game. The bats come in hot, scoring six runs in the series opener at Milwaukee, after totaling 20 runs in the last two games against the Royals.
Houston Astros at Arizona Diamondbacks
HOU ML (-132)
Madison Bumgarner continues to get too much respect after Arizona lost his first two starts of the season — by five runs to the Padres and three runs to the Rangers. Going up against Houston’s bats, which rank second in MLB with 5.78 runs per game, shouldn’t be a get-right spot for MadBum or the under performing bullpen. Christian Javier gets the nod for the Astros, and the 23-year-old looked great against an elite Dodgers lineup. Javier went 5.2 innings in that start, allowing just two hits and one run.
