Another early start for tonight’s MLB slate, which begins at 6:37 p.m. ET. This allows the Yankees-Blue Jays and Brewers-Reds games to get on this slate, which we’re very happy about. Let’s dive into the information and take a look at some stacks to consider.

1. New York Yankees

I was very pleased to see this game making the cut as the Yankees annihilated the Blue Jays’ pitching staff in the last series these teams played. Matt Shoemaker ($7,200) is being activated off the injured list to make this start and hasn’t exactly been pitching well when he’s taken the mound. Through five starts, Shoemaker has thrown 25 2/3 innings and has a 6.10 FIP, a 2.8 HR/9 and a 37.5% hard contact rate. With how the Yankees destroyed this team once already, specifically the bullpen that has a a 10.78 (!) FIP, a 4.5 HR/9 and an 8.4 BB/9 over the past week, how can you not like the Bronx Bombers here?

Players to Consider

Luke Voit ($5,400)
Giancarlo Stanton ($4,600)
Aaron Judge ($5,700)
DJ LeMahieu ($5,600)
Clint Frazier ($4,700)

2. Colorado Rockies

I very rarely use the Rockies on the road, even more so if it’s against a righty. They simply aren’t a good hitting ball club in this scenario. With that said, Johnny Cueto ($8,600) is simply not pitching well. At home is where his numbers really get ugly, which is incredible when you figure he’s pitching in San Francisco. Through 26 innings at home, Cueto has a .338 wOBA, a 4.14 FIP and four of the seven home runs he’s allowed. This stack will be focused on the lefties in the Rockies lineup first and then surrounded by some of the power bats, so if the list looks at bit odd in how I order it, that’s the reason. Against lefties, Cueto has an overall .359 wOBA and a 4.60 FIP.

Players to Consider

Charlie Blackmon ($5,100)
David Dahl ($3,100)
Raimel Tapia ($3,700)
Trevor Story ($5,500)
Ryan McMahon ($3,700)

3. Houston Astros

I’m giving some respect to how well Marco Gonzales ($7,600) has pitched this season, which is why the Astros are third on the list. Normally against lefties you don’t have to think about it much and you get these players into your lineup. With that said, Gonzales has had a tough time at home, which again is odd pitching in Seattle. His 4.78 FIP is a much bigger mark than his 2.99 FIP on the road. The Astros have a strong hitting club against lefties and we’re getting some of these bats at a bit of a discount as well. On a short slate like this one, while this isn’t my favorite stack, it brings some good upside.

Players to Consider

George Springer ($4,500)
Yuli Gurriel ($3,100)
Alex Bregman ($4,900)
Kyle Tucker ($4,200)
Jose Altuve ($4,300)

4. Tampa Bay Rays

If you REALLY want to get crazy in a tournament lineup, stacking the Rays is something to think about. Look, I know they’re facing Jacob deGrom ($10,500) and I am normally never one to go out of my way to go against him. However, he only lasted two innings in his last start due to a hamstring injury. He threw a couple of side sessions to ensure he was fine and it looks like he’ll be good. But, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Mets limit him in this start or that he’s not pitching at 100%. The Rays will be one of, if not the lowest-owned stack on the slate. If deGrom is not pitching well again, you’d have an amazing opportunity to shoot up the leaderboards. Or, deGrom will shut them down for seven innings and it’ll be business as usual.

Players to Consider

Brandon Lowe ($5,800)
Nate Lowe ($3,700)
Yoshi Tsutsugo ($3,300)
Randy Arozarena ($3,200)
Hunter Renfroe ($3,800)
