One game has already been postponed for Tuesday’s slate and more could be coming. However, as things currently stand, we have six games left to enjoy. One of them will be a matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers, which will also be the featured Showdown contest on DraftKings. Let’s discuss some players to consider as you craft your entries.

Golden State Warriors vs. Indiana Pacers
SHOWDOWN STRATEGY
Captain’s Pick
Stephen Curry ($16,500 CP): The stars are aligning for Curry to have a monster season. The Warriors don’t have many talented offensive weapons around him, which has resulted in Curry averaging 28.6 points to go along with a 32.6 percent usage rate. His scoring average could be even higher if he wasn’t shooting just 43.2 percent from the field, which is down significantly from his career mark of 47.5 percent. Throw in his averages of 5.2 rebounds and 6.7 assists and his ceiling is as high as anyone’s in this matchup.
Malcolm Brogdon ($14,100 CP): Injuries have impacted the Pacers in the early going, robbing them of the services of T.J. Warren (foot) and Jeremy Lamb (knee). That’s contributed to Brogdon averaging 38 minutes a night. He’s parlayed his expanded role into at least 43.5 DKFP in five straight games. There’s a chance that Victor Oladipo ($8,600) sits out this game for rest, so if that were to happen, the Pacers would really need Brogdon to step up.
UTIL Plays
Domantas Sabonis ($10,200): Like Brogdon, Sabonis has seen a ton of time on the floor, averaging 38 minutes a game. His 24.7 percent usage rate is on pace to be the highest mark of his career, which has helped him average 22.2 points a night. Although he doesn’t provide much in terms of defensive stats, when you combine his offensive game with his averages of 12.4 rebounds and 5.8 assists, he’s an extremely appealing option.
Justin Holiday ($6,200): Holiday moved into the starting lineup Monday against the Kings, which contributed to him playing 34 minutes. His 19.8 DKFP in the game were nothing to write home about, but he’s still averaging 12.3 points, four rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.1 three-pointers across the last eight games. If Oladipo sits, Holiday should see added scoring opportunities. Even if Oladipo plays, Holiday should see plenty of minutes given the Pacers’ lack of depth.
Doug McDermott ($5,000): While Holiday wasn’t great Monday, the same can’t be said of McDermott, who chipped in 31 DKFP. He was dialed in from deep, shooting 3-for-5 on three-pointers on his way to 21 points. The Pacers leaned on him for 30 minutes in that game and minutes might not be hard for him to come by in this game, either.

Fades
Kelly Oubre Jr. ($6,600): What is going on with Oubre? He just can’t seem to find his shot, leaving him with a 33.6 percent field goal percentage. He can’t buy a three-pointer, shooting 13.7 percent from behind the arc. Add in the fact that he provides virtually no assists and is averaging just 27 minutes a night and it’s difficult to justify taking a chance on him in your entry.
The Outcome
If Oladipo sits, this game could get out of hand early. Even if he plays, the Pacers are in a tough spot after losing to the Kings on Monday. The Warriors have also been playing better with Draymond Green ($7,000) healthy, winning four of their last five games. That includes impressive victories over the Trail Blazers, Clippers and Raptors.
Final Score: Warriors 125, Pacers 118
