The LCK’s spring split begins on Wednesday. Along with the LPL, roster construction becomes slightly trickier because of the difference in styles between both leagues. Here are some strategies and players to consider for DraftKings’ four-game LCK-LPL slate.

Captain
Wink ($12,000)
With the LCK starting on Wednesday, there is a wider delta in price range on this slate. As a result, you can opt for the highest-priced player and still fill a decent roster. Wink started his Invictus Gaming career with aplomb, putting up seven kills and 17 assists with no deaths. He even had a team-leading creep score of 260.5. He might even replicate these returns against LNG Esports.

Breathe ($6,800)
You wouldn’t normally spend $6,800 on a top laner but there are several factors that have led to this pick. One, with multiple teams playing their first games, there could be a sense of settling into a new season. Two, Breathe had a sensational opening game for Team WE, adding a stunning 10 kills in two maps while also chipping in with four assists.
Other to consider: Rascal ($6,400)
Jungler
beishang ($7,200)
With a clear and apparent mismatch between Team WE and Victory Five, beishang is a compelling target despite his price. He started solidly, with 1.5 kills, one death and 8.5 assists per map in a 2-0 opening win. Victory Five had a terrific summer split after a terrible spring split. In any case, beishang should benefit in the jungle.

Mid
Faker ($7,000)
The choice for starting mid laner for T1 this season will be between Faker and Clozer ($6,800). T1 will confirm the choice closer to lock. However, from a historical point of view, Faker would be a steady choice for mid laner if he starts. He is coming off two successive consistent splits in the LCK, providing balance for T1 in the middle of the map.
Others to consider: Rookie ($7,800)
ADC
Jiumeng ($7,800)
Jiumeng was unstoppable in the bottom lane in the season opener. He tends to have that impact in most games, but returns of seven kills and 4.5 assists per map basically finished the game right there. He was even killed six times over two maps but his aggressive style is part of the reason for that. He is averaging 108.2 DKFP per game.
Others to consider: Ruler ($7,600)
Support
Keria ($5,200)
Due to the slower pace of the LCK, there will be fewer kills across the board. That means assists for support players will also not be too high. That will be a trend right through the season. That’s also why the price for support players on DraftKings is lower. Drafting Keria at this price could be a point of differentiation for your team.
Team
KT Rolster ($4,200)
After splurging heavily on players, you won’t be left with much for your Team. If this is the strategy you’ve opted for, KT Rolster could be a value selection. The team was middling right through 2020 but could pick up one map against T1 if they can win enough team fights early.
