Julian Edlow goes position-by-position breaking down his top targets and values for Saturday’s two-game NFL Divisional Round slate.

‘Tis the season for Saturday NFL slates on DraftKings! Of course, this week we also get the four-game DraftKings Millionaire slate that covers the full weekend, but it’s also nice to break the slates down by day, and be able to cash come Saturday night. Here are some targets and values to consider for Saturday’s two-gamer.

Quarterback

Expensive

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills ($7,600) — This is the more likely game to shootout on Saturday night, and while it’s a tough call between the quarterbacks, Jackson just brings more in this matchup. The rushing attack should really get to Buffalo’s defense, and Lamar won’t be shy to use his legs in the postseason when the stakes are higher. Jackson hasn’t scored fewer than 22 DKFP since returning from COVID-19, and he scored 28 last week against Tennessee last week thanks to a 16-136-1 line on the ground. The Bills rank just 26th in DKFP allowed to QB.

Cheap

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers vs. Los Angeles Rams ($6,900) — Well, I’m not looking to play a QB on the road with a broken thumb in freezing weather, so I guess that means Rodgers is the cheapest I’ll go. The Rams have a spectacular defense and won’t make anything easy for Rodgers, but given all the attention the night game should get, we can at least look here for a pivot play. Not bad if you can get the MVP at low ownership on a two-game slate.

Other Options: Jared Goff ($5,200)

Running Back

Expensive

Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers vs. Los Angeles Rams ($6,800) — The Rams aren’t the best matchup for RBs, but there’s only so many places we can go with two games. I do like J.K. Dobbins ($6,000) a lot against Buffalo, but Lamar will take away some production there too. On Jones, the spot sets up well as a touchdown favorite at home on DraftKings Sportsbook, leading to some work on the ground. While Rodgers can beat anybody, the matchup against the secondary is tough, which should lead to more touches for Jones, even if some is in the passing game. Jones managed 18.5 DKFP in the last regular season game against a stout Bears defense, all while rushing for just 42 yards.

Cheap

Devin Singletary, Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens ($4,500) — It’s not often we get major injury news in the postseason after salaries are revealed, bu that was the case this week. With Zack Moss shut down for the season due to an ankle injury, Buffalo has no choice but to feature Singletary in the backfield. They also will opt to just pass the ball more, but everything in the backfield should be centered around the second-year back. Moss had 11 touches last week, and outside of a Week 17 game where the Bills had questionable motivation, Moss had double-digit carries his last three regular season games. Singletary will get a bulk of touches here by default.

Other Options: Cam Akers ($5,700)

Wide Receiver

Expensive

Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers vs. Los Angeles Rams ($8,600) — It doesn’t feel great to fade Adams after the season he had, but this might be the time to do so. I can talk myself into playing all four starting RBs on this slate if we had the room to, and would play them over most WR. Assuming you roster three of them with a top QB, it’s tough to fit Adams — who goes up against Jalen Ramsey. Not that Adams will be shut down, but he averaged less than 18 DKFP against the Bears this season, which isn’t enough production at this price. I’ll be willing to get burned here in cash, but a Rodgers/Adams stack makes a lot of sense in GPPs. It’s the most talented combo on the slate by a mile.

Cheap

Marquise Brown, Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills ($5,200) — The matchup isn’t great for Brown, as running the ball and going to the TE position is how you gash Buffalo. But he is cheap (down $200 from a big game last weekend), and has been on a nice run recently. Hollywood’s scored at least 13 DKFP in each game since Week 12, including 20-plus in each of the last two contests. Heading into the playoffs, he had six touchdowns in his last six games, and the Wild Card round was actually his first 100-yard game since Week 1. Again, it’s not an ideal matchup, but we only have so much to work with here.

Other Options: Cole Beasley ($4,900)

Tight End

Expensive

Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills ($5,000) — I much prefer paying $200 less than Brown for Andrews in terms of a Baltimore pass-catcher to roster. The Bills rank 29th in DKFP allowed to TE, and we saw Philip Rivers use all three of his for 14 receptions and well over 100 yards last week, making several huge third down conversions. Andrews is coming off two down games, and he’s in a huge breakout spot. I’m not even considering any other TE plays, especially with so few places to pay up.

Cheap

Dawson Knox, Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens ($3,100) — I kind of showed my hand already, and I think everyone else will be on the same page. Andrews should be wildly popular on this slate. But Knox has four touchdowns in his last six games, and at least makes for a contrarian piece in a Bills stack.

Other Options: Robert Tonyan ($4,200)

DST

Expensive

Green Bay Packers DST ($3,900) vs. Los Angeles Rams — With so much offensive potential in Buffalo, it makes sense to look at this game for defense, especially with the total much lower. The Packers are decent on defense, but significantly better at home, at least from a fantasy outlook — 7.6 DKFP per game is 3.5 higher than on the road. The Rams come in all kind of banged up on offense.

Cheap

Los Angeles Rams DST ($2,600) at Green Bay Packers — Going against Rodgers hurts, and you probably don’t have to. But it could be a contrarian play to go to the best defense in football in a game with a low total, all because of the matchup on the road. You can talk yourself into going this route.
