A busy Friday in the League of Legends professional circuit starts with Asia as the LPL and the LCK resume. We break down some suggestions for your DraftKings roster from the four-game slate.

Set your DraftKings fantasy League of Legends lineups here: LCK-LPL $50K Shock Blast [$10K to 1st]

Captain

Loken ($11,700)

Loken has had an outstanding start to this LPL season. He has registered 5.5 kills per game and 2.75 deaths, with a kill to death ratio of 2:1. Even though he has just 3.25 kills, there is enough to suggest Loken’s form alone is a justifiable reason for his selection as Captain. He even has a creep score of over 300 this season so far.

Other to consider: iBoy ($12,000)

Top

Cube ($6,400)

Cube has been a bit too aggressive in the top lane this season, entering fights he hasn’t really had to, which has left Rare Atom open. However, that style of play also has its advantages. He has managed 2.5 kills and 4.5 assists per game, which has helped carry his KDA to 2.

Other to consider: Zoom ($6,200)

Jungler

Arthur ($6,600)

Arthur’s sensational prowess in the jungle has been of the highlights of Hanwha Life Esports’ short season so far. He has managed 4.33 kills and 4.83 assists per game, with a KDA of 4.23. This kill participation rate from the jungle is rare. That’s also why his fantasy output has increased to 72.2 DKFP per game.

Other to consider: Pyosik ($6,800)

Mid

FoFo ($7,800)

FoFo’s most impressive facet this season has been his death rate. He has been killed an average of one time per map, while also maintaining a kill rate of 4 and assist rate of 2.75. He could do better with his kill participation, especially his contribution to kills. However, on this slate, there is a clear matchup advantage against Bilibili Gaming that he could capitalize on.

Other to consider: Chovy ($7,400)

ADC

Viper ($7,200)

Apart from Viper’s solid offensive returns this season (4.75 kills, 4.5 assists and a creep score of 358 per game), there is a strategic decision behind Viper’s inclusion. EDward Gaming and JD Gaming are far too close together to separate, which will be evident in Summoner’s Rift on Friday. In such cases, it’s likely that the game will go to a third map, which will give your players a higher probability of increased fantasy returns.

Other to consider: iBoy ($8,000)

Support

LvMao ($5,400)

For the reason mentioned above, I’d be stacking from JD Gaming as much as possible. LvMao has been solid in support of his ADC in the bottom lane, averaging 8.25 assists per game. He has also averaged 42.5 DKFP per game, not too bad for this position in fantasy LoL.

Team

DRX ($5,000)

I like DRX a lot this season because of how easily the team has been written off after some roster changes from 2020. Pyosik is one of the best junglers in the LCK while BAO ($7,400) has been excellent in the bottom lane. A price of just $5,000 for a team that has won five of nine maps so far makes sense.
