The best teams of the LPL (Top Esports) and the LCK (Damwon Gaming) are in action on Saturday in their respective leagues. We take a look at some options from each position for your DraftKings roster from the four-game League of Legends slate.

Set your DraftKings lineup here: LCK-LPL $40K Shock Blast [$10K to 1st]

Captain

JackeyLove ($12,300)

It was only a matter of time before JackeyLove would return to his usual proficiency after a slow start to the season. He has now increased his kill rate to 5.71 per game, which is fourth in the LPL. His kill participation is well over 10 because he also has 5 assists per map. His effectiveness increases with his creep score of 313.71. He is averaging 79.6 DKFP per game.

Other to consider: Knight ($12,000)

Top

Nuguri ($6,400)

Currently, Nuguri has a kill to death ratio of 1 (1.86 kills and 1.86 deaths per map). However, he has also added 5 assists, which has carried his KDA to 3.69. For a top laner, that’s not bad at all. And, he’s only now getting accustomed to the quicker pace of play of the LPL after his acquisition from the LCK.

Other to consider: Khan ($6,800)

Jungler

Peanut ($6,800)

This is a flexible position for your roster. You will need to make a slight sacrifice and not opt for a jungler from Top Esports or Damwon Gaming. I like Peanut because of a combination of advantageous matchup and his own personal skill. Form wise, he is currently averaging 1.75 kills, 1.75 deaths and 3.63 assists per map this season.

Other to consider: SofM ($6,600)

Mid

Knight ($8,000)

One rule of thumb for slates involving Top Esports is not to experiment with Knight. With a preference for JackeyLove, Knight can often be overlooked as a kill specialist. He maintained his form right through 2020, and has brought some of that confidence into this year too. In this spring split so far, he has 4.29 kills and 5.71 assists with just 2.14 deaths and a KDA of 4.67.

Other to consider: ShowMaker ($7,600)

ADC

Ghost ($7,800)

Damwon Gaming will be keen to find some momentum despite a relatively solid start to spring. In that team, Ghost has been the most productive player from the bottom lane, adding 4.4 kills, 1.4 deaths and 5.2 assists per game. Those offensive returns are even more impressive considering how difficult it is to find lane penetration in the LCK.

Other to consider: Lwx ($7,600)

Support

Delight ($4,200)

There is not a lot going for Delight apart from his price on this slate. You will need at least one such player on Saturday. He has averaged 6.75 assists per game, which isn’t awful. He has also managed 36.2 DKFP per game.

Team

Suning ($4,800)

Suning is another budget pick to reduce your average salary remaining. Suning is not a bad team as was evidenced during its sensational run to the final of Worlds last year. Even though Suning has won just three of seven maps, there is a high probability of challenging FunPlus Phoenix ($5,000).
