The LCK’s return from its weekly break throws a wrench in the works in terms of options for Wednesday’s four-game LCK-LPL slate. We break down some potential picks from each position for your DraftKings roster for Wednesday.
Ruler ($11,400 CP)
Ruler’s effectiveness is hardly surprising to anyone who has seen him since 2020. He has just continued from where he left off. In spring this year, he has 3.93 kills, 1.67 deaths and 4.47 assists per game. He has a KDA of 5.04 and a creep score of 353 — leading Gen.G in both those metrics. Ruler is an extremely reliable asset for your fantasy team.
Others to consider: Loken ($12,300 CP)
Finding a top laner that can provide a higher return on a lower investment is almost always key in League of Legends fantasy. On this slate, that top laner might be eStar’s zs, who has a decent KDA of close to 3.0 this season. His kill to death ratio is well below 1.0 (1.86 kills and 2.21 deaths), but his price isn’t high and he has a matchup against ThunderTalk that he could capitalize on.
Others to consider: Canna ($6,200)
This selection has nothing to do with price, although it’s a happy coincidence that Pyosik will set you back just $5.8K. The only thing working against Pyosik on this slate is a matchup with the mighty T1. He has 1.94 kills, 2.18 deaths and 5.0 assists per game, earning him a KDA of 3.19. This has come despite DRX winning just 9 of 17 maps.
Others to consider: Haro ($6,600)
Again, Bdd’s lower price compared to mid laners from JD Gaming is just handy, as he’s the best option at the position regardless of salary. One of the reasons is because of Gen.G’s incredible lane defense. Bdd has a death rate of just 1.8, pushing up his KDA to 4.7 despite a steady kill participation of over 8.0 (2.87 kills and 5.6 assists).
Others to consider: irma ($7,200)
Loken will have several kills on Wednesday. There’s no doubt in that. It just comes down to the risk and reward that comes with his exorbitant price. Picking him as your designated ADC might provide a better balance to your roster. He has 4.3 kills and 3.8 assists per game, which is a bit low for his usual lofty standards.
Others to consider: rat ($7,400)
Some inexpensive options in the previous categories will allow some freedom for Support and Team. Keria is one of only two players on T1 to have played all 16 maps so far. Despite T1 having won just 7 of 16 maps, Keria has been consistent, producing 7.75 assists at a commendable KDA of 2.52.
JD Gaming ($5,800)
You will be left with exactly $5.8K if you’ve picked your roster as I shown above, enabling you to draft JD Gaming on this slate. Considering JD has won just 4 of 10 maps in a sluggish start to the spring split, the team will be looking at Wednesday as an opportunity to get on track against an out-of-sorts Rogue Warriors team.
