The LPL resumes on Wednesday with two more games, including Team WE and Rare Atom facing bottom-half opponents. Here is a look at some picks to consider from each position of your DraftKings roster.
Jiumeng ($11,400 CP)
Jiumeng has a relatively high death rate (2.4 per game), but he has the best kill rate on a team that should convincingly beat eStar on Wednesday. Jiumeng has a kill participation of close to 10.0 (4.55 kills and 5.05 assists per map). He has a team-leading creep score of 285.6. He is even averaging 69.5 DKFP per game, leading all players on this slate.
Other to consider: iBoy ($11,700 CP)
In two-game League of Legends slates, a price of $6.4K for a top laner is affordable, particularly when that player can provide differentiation to your roster. Breathe has the second-best KDA on Team WE (5.44), built on solid numbers across the board which include 2.15 kills, 1.6 deaths and 6.55 assists per game.
Other to consider: Cube ($6,600)
Here’s why you’re getting real value from H4cker. He has his team’s best KDA (4.24) and lowest death rate (2.05). He even averages 2.9 kills — second best in eStar. All this for the price of just $6.6K. It’s always a prudent idea to hedge your bets by picking a player from one of the underdogs. H4cker fits in perfectly.
Other to consider: beishang ($7,000)
FoFo’s defense has been impeccable. He has been killed just 1.71 times per map this season, a team low. That has also improved his KDA to 4.83, highest on Rare Atom. FoFo is unlikely to rack up as many kills as other mid laners in the LPL, but he is consistent at his preferred style of operation, which is why he is worth the highest-price on the slate for this position.
Other to consider: Shanks ($7,200)
ThunderTalk hasn’t quite found any rhythm this season, but Rare Atom has. From a matchup perspective, drafting the mid and bot laner from Rare Atom could have multiple benefits. iBoy has been steady, putting up 3.14 kills, 2.43 deaths and 5.14 assists per game. Rare Atom is not the most aggressive team — leaving his kill participation a bit low — however, he is still extremely valuable as the designated AD Carry.
Other to consider: rat ($7,200)
Missing’s assist rate is 8.1 per game. That’s the first check mark for his selection. He has a decent KDA of 2.51, considering he has been killed quite often (3.65 times per map). Team WE will be keen to improve on their current 12-8 maps record. Missing will be a key part of that success.
Team WE ($5,000)
Team WE is currently fourth on the LPL table with a 6-3 series record. eStar ($4,400), on the other hand, is currently 14th with a 2-6 series record. There is a massive difference in quality, skill and confidence in this game.
