Super Bowl Sunday is upon us, which means the floodgates have opened at DraftKings Sportsbook, who are offering a line on just about every single aspect of the big game. Julian Edlow is focused in on the Kansas City Chiefs side of things, so I’ll go ahead and take the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. You can read up on my favorite player props for TB here, but I’ll go through some more general bets for the home side on DraftKings Sportsbook.

There’s a reason this is juiced up so high, but boy does this look like a good prop to attack. Tom Brady has made his mark on this postseason with his ability to spread the ball around, and this is a perfect way to cash in on his ability to make stars out of just about everyone. Let’s reel off the near-guarantees: Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown, Leonard Fournette and then Cameron Brate, who was limited in practice but should play. We need three more. Well, Scotty Miller has had a catch in each of the last seven games, so he’s probably close to a near-guarantee. Tyler Johnson has had one in four of the last five, including one in each of the previous two games. Now, we’re looking at either Ronald Jones II or LeSean McCoy to get involved out of the backfield, or Rob Gronkowski — who’s continuing to receive targets — to make a grab. It just seems like there are too many ways this can hit, and that’s not even factoring in speedster Jaydon Mickens, who has been utilized this season and could be thrown the ball on one of those end-around shovel passes. There’s also the possibility we get a trick play. I think you’re looking at nine different Bucs making grabs.
Prior to last week, when he hit his lone field goal attempt, Ryan Succop had converted seven field goals in two playoff games — in seven tries. Not only is he automatic, but he’s getting a lot of burn. I realize we are reaching for props, but this is the Super Bowl! There is nothing you can’t bet. The Chiefs allowed two field goals in last year’s Super Bowl, and I suspect this will be a similar game due to their prowess against the pass. The line here is too good to ignore.
I really love the value here on arguably the best pass rush in football. Shaq Barrett, Jason Pierre-Paul and Ndamukong Suh all rate incredibly highly this season according to PFF, and they are a large part of the reason the Buccaneers rank 10th in sack rate this season. Mahomes has been sacked just once all postseason, but thinking back to last year’s Super Bowl — when he faced a similarly imposing line in San Francisco — he was sacked a whopping four times. Getting plus money on a line this good is a steal.
