Conference tournament week is here! After a tough start to the week, we bounced back strong on Friday, finishing 7-2-1 overall in college hoops, including 3-1 on article plays. Here are the plays that jump out to me on DraftKings Sportsbook for another terrific card on Saturday.

Iowa vs. Illinois: ILL -3.5 (-112)
Illinois has been just about as dominant as a team could possibly be these past couple of weeks. Last week the Illini won three road games against Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio State, all as underdogs. Illinois started the Big Ten Tournament with wire-to-wire domination over Rutgers. While Iowa’s an impressive team and has shown improvements on the defensive end, I like the matchup for the Illini here. Illinois topped the Hawkeyes by five in the only regular-season matchup, and while the Hawkeyes are a bit more healthy at this stage of the season, Illinois has made some major strides.
Oklahoma State vs. Texas: OKST ML (+125)
I’m ready to drop my guard and just admit that the Cowboys might actually be this good. Cade Cunningham was electric in Friday’s upset victory over Baylor, virtually locking up the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft, if he hadn’t already. Texas is a great team, with three very good guards and more size than OKST. But the Cowboys have the bodies to match up with the Longhorns, and Cunningham being in this groove is what puts them over the top. I do have a Texas +800 ticket in the Big 12, so I’ll be hedging on this game. But considering I like OKST, I’ll be doing so where I stand to profit more if the team I like wins the game.

Georgia Tech vs. Florida State: FSU -4.5 (-112)
Just as Texas snuck into the Big 12 title game, Georgia Tech got as much of a cakewalk into a conference title game as we’ve ever seen. The Yellow Jackets got a win over 13-seed Miami, which was playing for the third day in a row, and then advanced with Virginia dropping out. Tech has some solid size and length, and having Jose Alvarado at point guard makes them dangerous — we’ll see if he shows any signs of the knee injury he suffered on Thursday. But FSU is just bigger, deeper, more skilled. The Seminoles have been rolling in the ACC the past couple of seasons, and I think it would mean something to them to close out the tournament this year after not getting the chance last season. FSU will also have revenge on its mind after a late January loss to G-Tech.

Michigan/Creighton Moneyline Parlay (-140)
Ohio State was up big on Friday, but got pushed to overtime and really had to grind out a win, all with Kyle Young in the locker room. I expect the Buckeyes to be gassed in this early game and Michigan just has another level, as they showed on Friday. Georgetown is red-hot right now in the Big East, and I don’t mind playing them at +8.5 for the game. But Creighton is supremely talented, and won a true test on Friday night. This should be a good game, but I’d be very surprised if the Bluejays don’t come out on top.
