NBA Basketball Betting Trends: Team Records Against the Spread and Totals on DraftKings Sportsbook for March 23

We took a bit of a break during March Madness, but with the tournament now in a hiatus, we’re back with NBA trends this week!

The NBA is the Wild West right now, given COVID-19 and the league’s health protocols, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t edges to be had. Generally, I’m giving out plays in a best bets article, and while I’ll still be doing so, I think it’s also helpful to share some numbers that help you conduct your own research and make your own plays. Here are some DraftKings Sportsbook betting trends and straight up (SU)/against the spread (ATS) information that you should find helpful for Tuesday’s NBA betting card.

  • The Magic are 10-12 to the over at home.
  • The Magic are 1-10 SU in the last 11, but 4-2 ATS in their last six.
  • The Magic are 1-4 to the over in their last five.
  • The Magic are 13-8-1 1Q ATS at home, and 9-1 1Q ATS in their last 10.

Los Angeles Lakers (28-15, 21-22 ATS) at New Orleans Pelicans (18-24, 19-23 ATS)

  • The Lakers are 14-6 SU and 11-9 ATS on the road.
  • The Lakers are 4-15-1 to the over on the road.
  • The Lakers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven.
  • The Lakers are 5-1 to the over in their last six games in New Orleans.
  • The Pelicans are 12-10 SU and 10-12 ATS at home.
  • The Pelicans are 17-4-1 to the over at home.
  • The Pelicans are 4-1 ATS in their last five.
  • The Pelicans are 15-5 to the over in their last 20.

Washington Wizards (15-26, 21-20 ATS) at New York Knicks (21-22, 24-18-1 ATS)

  • The Wizards are 7-12 SU and 11-8 ATS on the road.
  • The Wizards are 7-12 to the over on the road.
  • The Wizards are 1-6 SU in their last seven, but 12-6 ATS in their last 18.
  • The Wizards are an NBA-worst 14-26-1 1H ATS, including 7-12 1H ATS on the road and 2-8 1H ATS in their last 10.
  • The Knicks are 12-8 SU and 11-8-1 ATS at home.
  • The Knicks are 9-11 to the over at home.
  • The Knicks are 12-5-1 ATS in their last 18.
  • The Knicks are an NBA-best 27-14-2 1H ATS, including 13-7 1H ATS at home, but just 1-4-1 1H ATS since the All-Star break.

Phoenix Suns (28-13, 28-13 ATS) at Miami Heat (22-21, 18-24-1 ATS)

  • The Suns are 13-5 SU and ATS on the road.

  • The Suns are 16-4 SU and ATS in their last 20.

Brooklyn Nets (29-14, 22-21 ATS) at Portland Trail Blazers (25-17, 21-21 ATS)

  • The Nets are 15-2 SU in their last 17, but just 1-4 ATS in their last five.
  • The Nets are 15-26-2 1Q ATS and 7-12-1 1Q ATS on the road.
  • The Blazers are 14-8 SU and 9-13 ATS at home.
  • The Blazers are 12-10 to the over at home.
  • The Blazers are 7-3 SU in their last 10, but just 2-6 ATS in their last eight.

Philadelphia 76ers (30-13, 24-16-3 ATS) at Golden State Warriors (22-21, 21-22 ATS)

  • The 76ers are 11-9 SU and 8-9-3 ATS on the road.
  • The 76ers are 9-11 to the over on the road.
  • The 76ers are 8-1 SU and 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine.
  • The 76ers are 2-4 to the over in their last six.
  • The Warriors are 13-7 SU and 12-8 ATS at home.
  • The Warriors are 9-10-1 to the over at home.
  • The Warriors are 3-6 SU and ATS in their last nine.
  • The Warriors are 4-9 to the over in their last 13.
