What is the DraftKings Championship Series?

The DraftKings Championship Series is the world’s top live and online competition series for skin in the game fans. DraftKings is dishing out over $150 million across 100+ contests in 2021.

Winners of Championship Series contests earn a spot in one of DraftKings’ three end of season Tournaments of Champions. Here, they’ll compete to win even more and be crowned the best of the best in Daily Fantasy Sports, Sportsbook, and Casino.

FAQs

What are the Tournaments of Champions and how do I qualify?

In January 2022, the end of this Championship Series season, DraftKings will hold three Tournaments of Champions — one for each DraftKings product (DFS, Sportsbook, and Casino). To qualify for these final events and compete for more cash and bragging rights, you must win a Championship Series contest during the season.

Can I directly enter all DraftKings Championship Series contests?

You can directly enter most Championship Series contests. All Fantasy Millionaire contests, Sports Betting contests, and Casino contests may be bought into directly. All five (5) DFS World Championships require that you win a qualifier contest to participate in the final. Qualifier contests run leading up to each World Championship and the number of qualifiers varies depending on the sport.

When are DraftKings Championship Series contests announced?

New DraftKings Championship Series contests will be announced periodically throughout the year. By season’s end there will be 100 contests with a $1 Million top prize across DFS, Sports Betting, and Casino. Be sure to return to this page regularly to see what new Championship Series offerings have been announced.

Are DraftKings Championship Series contests live and in person?

All Championship Series contests can be played online as long as players are located within the appropriate legal jurisdictions. Throughout 2021, DraftKings will be looking to safely run live and in person events for some Championship Series contests. It will be clearly labeled that a contest has a live event when it is announced. Players will always have the option of competing online from home and are not required to attend a live event.

How do I find DraftKings Championship Series Contests?

Contests can be found above in the “Upcoming Contests” section. In addition, DFS, Sports Betting and Casino contests may be found in each of their respective apps once a new event has been announced.
