Point Guard

Stud

Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors at Washington Wizards ($10,500) - Curry has been on an absolute tear recently. He’s scored at least 59.0 DKFP in five of his past six games, and he’s played well enough to emerge as a dark horse MVP candidate.

He gets a dream matchup vs. the Wizards on Wednesday. They’ve played at the fastest pace in the league this season, and they also rank tied for 21st in defensive efficiency. The Warriors have played at the second-fastest pace, so this game should feature tons of fantasy points. The total on this game sits at 238.5 on the DraftKings Sportsbook, and the Warriors’ implied team total of 120.25 is the second-highest mark on the slate.

Other Options — Russell Westbrook ($10,900), Malcolm Brogdon ($7,700)

Value

Delon Wright, Sacramento Kings vs. Minnesota Timberwolves ($4,100) – The game between the Kings and Timberwolves is another elite target in DFS tonight. The total on this game is actually slightly higher than Warriors-Wizards at 239.5, and the Kings lead all teams with an implied team total of 122.0.

Wright is also way too cheap at $4.1K. He’s scored at least 28.25 DKFP in three-straight games, and he’s cut into Tyrese Haliburton’s ($6,100) playing time significantly.

Other Options – Ricky Rubio ($4,800), Raul Neto ($3,300)

Shooting Guard

Stud

Kyrie Irving, Brooklyn Nets at Toronto Raptors ($9,900) – Irving led the shorthanded Nets to a victory over the Pelicans on Tuesday, but his 47.5 DKFP was slightly disappointing. That said, he should get a chance to redeem himself on Wednesday. James Harden and Kevin Durant remain out of the lineup, and there’s always a chance Blake Griffin ($5,100) is ruled out on the second night of a back-to-back.

Irving has increased his usage rate by 6.6% with all three players off the court this season, resulting in an average of 1.54 DKFP per minute. That gives him the possibility of immense upside vs. the Raptors.

Other Options – Paul George ($9,300), Anthony Edwards ($7,100)

Value

Landry Shamet, Brooklyn Nets at Toronto Raptors ($4,600) – Let’s stick with the Nets. There’s a scenario where they have just eight active players vs. the Raptors, which would obviously make them an ideal target on DraftKings.

Shamet is someone who has stepped up recently given all their injuries. He’s logged at least 33.8 minutes in back-to-back games, and he’s finished with at least 31.75 DKFP in both contests. He’s increased his production to 0.89 DKFP per minute over the past month, so he has the potential to be one of the best values on the slate.

Other Options – Terence Davis ($3,300), Edmond Sumner ($3,300)

Small Forward

Stud

Michael Porter Jr., Denver Nuggets at Portland Trail Blazers ($7,900) – Small forward is one of the weakest positions to pay up at on Wednesday. Porter is probably your best option if you want to go in that direction. He’s going to have to carry a larger workload for the Nuggets moving forward with Jamal Murray out of the lineup, and while he’s disappointed in back-to-back outings, he did score at least 37.5 DKFP in six of his previous seven games prior to that. He also draws a nice matchup vs. the Blazers, who rank just 29th in defensive efficiency.

Other Options – Luka Doncic ($10,800), R.J. Barrett ($6,300)

Value

Garrett Temple, Chicago Bulls at Cleveland Cavaliers ($3,300) – The Nets have two appealing value options at small forward in Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot ($3,000) and Alize Johnson ($3,200), but let’s focus on Temple instead. His playing time has ramped up since returning to the lineup four games ago, culminating in more than 31 minutes in his last contest. He responded with 28.0 DKFP, yet his salary has actually decreased for tonight’s matchup vs. the Cavaliers. The Cavs rank tied for 21st in defensive efficiency, so Temple can find success in this matchup.

Other Option – P.J. Dozier ($3,900)

Power Forward

Stud

Julius Randle, New York Knicks vs. Atlanta Hawks ($10,200) – Randle has been an absolute monster for the Knicks this season, and his play is a big reason why they’re currently sitting in fifth place in the Eastern Conference. He’s coming off a disappointing 44.0 DKFP in his last game, but he had scored at least 49.5 DKFP in seven of his previous eight contests. He’s averaged 1.30 DKFP per minute over the past month, and he’s routinely playing 40 minutes a night under the psychotic Tom Thibodeau.

Other Options – Draymond Green ($7,100), Kevin Love ($6,500)

Value

Oshae Brissett, Indiana Pacers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder ($3,100) – Brissett has played on two 10-day contracts this season, and he’s been impressive enough that the Pacers rewarded him with a three-year deal on Tuesday. He’ll have his chance to prove his worth tonight vs. the Thunder. The Pacers’ frontcourt has been depleted, with Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner out with injuries and JaKarr Sampson serving a one-game suspension. Even Goga Bitadze ($4,200; ankle) is questionable, so the Pacers have very little depth at the moment.

Other Options – Jaden McDaniels ($3,700), Dario Saric ($3,100)

Center

Stud

Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets at Portland Trail Blazers ($11,000) – Breaking news: Jokic is really freaking good at basketball. He will almost certainly win the MVP award this season — barring an injury — and he’s also been a monster from a fantasy perspective. He’s been at his best this season in games without Murray, averaging just under 60.0 DKFP in nine full contests. He’s increased his usage rate by 2.7% and his assist rate by 9.7% in those contests, so he should continue to deliver huge performances with his star running mate sidelined.

Other Options – Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,400), Rudy Gobert ($8,000)

Value

DeAndre Jordan, Brooklyn Nets at Toronto Raptors ($4,000) – Jordan is obviously not the same player that he was in his prime, but he’s still averaged a very respectable 0.99 DKFP per minute over the past month. The Nets’ center depth has taken a real hit recently — Nic Claxton is sidelined due to health and safety protocols and LaMarcus Aldridge retired — and they could be even thinner if the aforementioned Griffin rests. That means Jordan should see 20-plus minutes, and that should be more than enough for him to return value.

Other Options – Goga Bitadze ($4,200), Kevon Looney ($3,800), Daniel Theis ($3,800)
