Madden Stream Picks: Top DraftKings Fantasy Football DFS Targets, Values for April 25

Zach Thompson gives his top studs and value plays at each position for Sunday’s two-game Madden Stream DraftKings slate, which starts at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Get ready for Sunday Night football as the DraftKings Dream Stream cues up a pair of Madden 21 sims to wrap up the weekend following the Major League Eating Red Carpet Film Feast. The fantasy football action starts at 8:00 p.m. ET when the New Orleans Saints welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers to the virtual Big Easy. Game 2 of the doubleheader kicks off at 10:00 p.m. ET when the Miami Dolphins roll into Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans. Check out my favorite DFS plays from those four teams listed below.

You can get all the gameplay details on the Madden Streams Information Page and dive into the full depth chart for each team.

Quarterback

Stud

Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, $6,500 — Brees and the Saints have faced the Steelers three times, going 1-2 with all three games decided by a field goal or less. Brees has over 20 DKFP in two of those three games and would be a good play if he gets to that level in this rematch. He is averaging 258.2 passing yards per sim to go with his 125 passing touchdowns in 76 sims. He doesn’t have the highest ceiling in Madden but is the most reliable option on this limited slate.

Value

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins at Tennessee Titans, $6,200 — I actually like Tua’s ceiling better than Brees’ ceiling, but I also acknowledge that he also comes with more risk. He lit up the Titans for 27.96 DKFP in their most recent meeting throwing for 319 yards and three touchdowns. He comes in on a nice roll as well, with over 26 DKFP in three of his past five games. He has 101 touchdowns in 65 sims and is averaging 225.3 passing yards.

Running Back

Stud

Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans vs. Miami Dolphins, $7,700 — Miami is actually pretty solid against the run and held Henry to 6.7 and 15.9 DKFP in their two earlier Madden 21 meetings. However, Henry comes with too much upside to pass up, having scored 67 touchdowns in 72 sims and averaging 80.7 rushing yards, 24.1 receiving yards, 3.5 receptions and 20.3 DKFP per sim. If Alvin Kamara ($6,800) was in a tasty matchup, he might be tempting but the Steelers are another difficult opponent.

Other Option — Matt Breida ($6,300)

Value

Jaylen Samuels, Pittsburgh Steelers at New Orleans Saints, $4,800 — Samuels has averaged 4.1 catches per sim as the Steelers’ third-down back and produced 6.9, 4.7 and 13.1 DKFP in his three earlier meetings with the Saints. He is the only regularly involved cheap play and is reliable due to his consistent PPR volume.

Wide Receiver

Stud

JuJu Smith-Schuster, Pittsburgh Steelers at New Orleans Saints, $6,200 — The Saints struggle defending opposing slot receivers and JuJu has burnt them in their previous matchups for 27.6, 12.8 and 10.5 DKFP. As the Steelers’ WR1, Smith-Schuster is averaging over 5.0 catches per contest and is coming off 10 catches for 136 yards and 32.6 DKFP in his most recent matchup in which he scored his 28th touchdown in 68 sims.

Other Option — Michael Thomas ($6,900)

Value

Corey Davis, Tennessee Titans vs. Miami Dolphins, $5,800 — Davis is the Titans’ WR2 but has been very productive, with a team-high 31 receiving scores and 11.7 DKFP per sim. He had two of those touchdowns in his most recent matchup with Miami, finishing with 22.6 DKFP. He has three scores in his past four games and remains a constant red-zone focus.

Jakeem Grant, Miami Dolphins at Tennessee Titans, $3,700 — Grant has been on fire lately with five touchdowns in his past four games and an average of 15.3 DKFP per sim. He was relatively quiet against the Titans in their past meetings but always offers big-play potential due to his speed out of the slot. For a player under $4K, he has a massive ceiling

Other Options — Devante Parker ($5,200), Adam Humphries ($3,900)

Tight End

Stud

Jared Cook, New Orleans Saints vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, $5,300 — Cook is averaging 5.08 catches per sim and is just 33 yards away from totaling 4,000 receiving yards over his 75 games. He has also scored 19 touchdowns, including one as part of a 12-catch performance in his most recent matchup with the Steelers that resulted in an impressive 31.3 DKFP.

Other Option — Eric Ebron ($5,200)

Value

Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins at Tennessee Titans, $4,900 — Gesicki is a favorite target for Tua, hauling in 4.6 catches for 51.3 yards per contest. He had eight catches for 89 yards and 22.9 DKFP in his most recent sim against the Titans and has over 12 DKFP in four straight coming into this rematch.

DST

Stud/Value

Steelers DST at New Orleans Saints, $3,000 — The Steelers have forced 59 turnovers in 68 sims while totaling 140 sacks and adding 11 defensive touchdowns to produce a slate-leading 6.3 DKFP per game. They had 13 and 17 DKFP in their two most recent matchups with New Orleans and feature more playmakers than any other DST in play on this limited slate.
