Who will be the second-overall pick?

Zach Wilson
Trey Lance
Justin Fields
Trevor Lawrence
Penei Sewell
Any other player

Lawrence going to Jacksonville No. 1 is a foregone conclusion. The Jets taking Wilson with the next pick is just as much of a lock. No reason to overthink this one.

Choice: Zach Wilson

Who will be the third-overall pick?

Zach Wilson
Trey Lance
Justin Fields
Ja’Marr Chase
Mac Jones
Any other player

Things get a little tougher here. In fact, this is the most difficult question in the pool.

Jones is the betting favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, but Lance makes sense if San Francisco isn’t done with Jimmy Garoppolo just yet.

Then there’s Fields. He and Lance are both dual-threat QBs, but Fields put together his college resumé against much better competition. While Jones has been linked to the 49ers a fair amount, reports indicate San Francisco has looked into Fields and Lance plenty, as well. It shouldn’t have taken too much looking for the 49ers to see Fields is the best QB of the three to trust their franchise with.

Choice: Justin Fields

Who will be the fourth-overall pick?

Zach Wilson
Trey Lance
Justin Fields
Ja’Marr Chase
Penei Sewell
Any other player

There’s been some thought to the Falcons going with a quarterback at No. 4, but Kyle Pitts has emerged as the favorite to go in this spot (+100 on DraftKings Sportsbook).

Matt Ryan has done well with tight ends in the past, and the Falcons QB could afford to have another one as he gets up there in age. Having big bodies to target is vital in the game now. Combine those two elements and the fact that the drop from Pitts to the other tight ends is significant, and Atlanta adding a second tight end with the No. 4 pick becomes the clear choice.

Choice: Any other player

Who will be the fifth-overall pick?

Zach Wilson
Trey Lance
Justin Fields
Ja’Marr Chase
Penei Sewell
Any other player

This one is down to two players: Chase and Sewell. Chase has history with Joe Burrow. But, the Bengals have to protect their QB after the way his season ended last year. He’s the franchise. A good WR doesn’t mean a thing if there isn’t someone under center to get it to him.

Choice: Penei Sewell

Who will be the first WR drafted?

Ja’Marr Chase
Jaylen Waddle
DeVonta Smith
Any other player/no WRs drafted in the First Round

There’s a reason Burrow has made a case for his team to pick Chase. Passing on him isn’t going to be any pill to swallow for the Bengals. He roasted the best corners opposing secondaries had to offer, relying mostly on his physical gifts — which you can’t teach. As good as Smith and Waddle are, Chase will easily be the first WR to hear his name called.

Choice: Ja’Marr Chase

Who will be the first RB drafted?

Najee Harris
Travis Etienne
Any other player/no RBs drafted in the First Round

It’s not so much a matter of “if” as it is “when” for Harris in the first round — but, of course, for the sake of the pool, “if” is in fact all that matters. The Steelers make the most sense to take a running back in the first round after moving on from James Conner. Ben Roethlisberger can still sort of get it done, but he needs talented players at each skill position. Someone could move up to try and swipe Harris away, but all that matters here is someone takes him in the first 32.

Choice: Najee Harris

Who will be the first defensive player drafted?

Caleb Farley
Micah Parsons
Gregory Rousseau
Patrick Surtain II
Kwity Paye
Any other player/no defensive players drafted in the First Round

Surtain can handle big wide receivers and make tackles. He’s good in space and can go one-on-one. He’s drawing comparisons to some of the best cornerbacks in the game now and has the highest floor of any defensive player in the draft. There are some other good options here, but no team looking to improve its defense first can afford to pass on Surtain.

Choice: Patrick Surtain II

Which of the listed players will be selected first?

Justin Fields
Trey Lance
Mac Jones

This question will be answered with the No. 3 pick in the draft. As mentioned above, Fields is the guy to cast your lot with.

Choice: Justin Fields

How many QBs will be drafted in the First Round?

Over 5.5
Under 5.5

Even if the Patriots or Bears decide to wait before picking a QB, they’re not going to go after someone like Kyle Trask or Davis Mills in the first. Those two will wait a while after the top five quarterbacks go; there’s too much talent elsewhere.

Choice: Under 5.5

Total Number of 2021 First-Round Picks Traded After 8:00 p.m. ET on April 29?

Over 6.5
Under 6.5

In each of the last three NFL Drafts, seven-plus first-round picks have been moved on draft night. With a few teams looking to get one of those top-tier quarterbacks, it should be easier than usual to hit the over.

Choice: Over 6.5
