Another work week brings another busy slate of Madden sims with six games scheduled throughout this Monday on the DraftKings Dream Stream. The three-game featured classic slate kicks off at 6:00 p.m. ET with a matchup between the Detroit Lions and the Miami Dolphins. At 8:00 p.m. ET, the primetime spotlight will shine on the NFC North for a matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers. In the night’s final game, the San Francisco 49ers travel east to visit the Washington Football Team on Madden After Dark.
Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings, $7,000 — Rodgers may be unhappy in real life, but in simland, he’s still putting up good numbers for the Packers. Rodgers has averaged 254.7 passing yards for 19.9 DKFP per sim while throwing 134 touchdowns in 76 contests. He and the Packers have only faced the Vikings twice in Madden 21, and Rodgers finished with 16.98 and 22.22 DKFP. Rodgers posted over 18 DKFP in five of his past seven sims while averaging 21.9 DKFP and comes into this favorable matchup with solid momentum.
Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions at Miami Dolphins, $5,300 — Stafford is the cheapest QB on this slate but is averaging the third-most DKFP per game over the entire span of Madden 21. He has struggled recently, posting under 8.0 DKFP in three straight sims and under 20 DKFP in each of his 15 most recent sims, which is why his salary is so reduced. He did show some upside against the Dolphins, though, with 33.48 DKFP and 19.6 DKFP against them in their previous meetings. Stafford could end up being a great play at this price if he can have that kind of success in this rematch.
Other Option — Dwayne Haskins Jr. ($5,600)
Dalvin Cook, Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers, $8,100 — Cook has been the best all-around RB in Madden 21, averaging 23.3 DKFP per sim with an amazing 79 touchdowns in 71 games. He has averaged 82.2 rushing yards, 33.7 receiving yards and 4.2 receptions per contest and posted 33.5 and 20.3 DKFP in his two previous contests against the Packers, who have struggled against the run in many of these sims.
Other Options — Raheem Mostert ($7,800), Aaron Jones ($7,500)
D’Andre Swift, Detroit Lions at Miami Dolphins, $5,000 — There aren’t many timeshares to target for value RBs on this slate, with the Lions the only main exception. Swift has been the third-down back for the Lions and averaged 3.7 receptions for 25.4 receiving yards per sim. He had 19.2 and 8.3 DKFP in his two previous games with Miami, and if the Lions’ offense gets going he should be able to return nice value.
Other Option — J.D. McKissic ($6,900)
Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings, $6,900 — Adams has been productive as Rodgers’ go-to WR1 with at least five catches in five straight sims. He had eight catches and 26.6 DKFP against the Chiefs in his most recent sim and posted the exact same total with 126 yards in his most recent matchup against the Vikings after posting 22.7 DKFP the first time they clashed in Madden 21. The Vikings don’t have a good secondary, so Adams should thrive again in this contest.
Other Options — DeVante Parker ($6,200), Devin Funchess ($5,900)
Kendrick Bourne, San Francisco 49ers at Washington Football Team, $4,400 — Bourne is a very solid WR2 for the 49ers, who has lots of upside in matchups against teams that limit opposing slot WR since WR1 Deebo Samuel ($4,800) typically works from that spot. Bourne had over 20 DKFP in two straight games before posting just 1.9 DKFP in his most recent sim, and he has thrived in this specific matchup, producing 14.9 and 24.3 DKFP in his two games against Washington.
Danny Amendola, Detroit Lions at Miami Dolphins, $3,800 — Another value candidate that could benefit from the Lions getting back on track is Amendola, who serves as the primary slot WR. He has averaged 3.7 catches for 41.3 yards per sim and went off for seven catches, 104 yards, a touchdown and 26.4 DKFP in his most recent game against Miami.
Other Options — Kenny Golladay ($5,100), Marquez Valdes-Scantling ($4,300), Jakeem Grant ($3,900)

George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers at Washington Football Team, $5,700 — Kittle has the highest overall rating of any TE in the Week 1 Madden 21 ratings used in these sims. His 98 overall rating has given him a very high ceiling; however, inconsistent QB play has sometimes left him as a disappointment. He has been better lately with at least five catches in nine of his past 13 sims, highlighted by a 10-catch game against the Texans that resulted in 27.0 DKFP. He had 9.0 and 22.7 DKFP in his two previous meetings with Washington.
Other Option — Mike Gesicki ($5,400)
Jeremy Sprinkle, Washington Football Team vs. San Francisco 49ers, $4,800 — Because the 49ers have such highly-rated CBs, teams often have to focus more on their TE when facing San Francisco. When he gets increased focus, Sprinkle has shown a high ceiling and is coming off a monster 28.7-DKFP performance against the Giants in his most recent sim.
Other Option — T.J. Hockenson ($4,500)
Washington Football Team DST vs. San Francisco 49ers, $3,100 — The top two defenses go head-to-head in the late game, but of the two, I prefer Washington due to their advantage in takeaways (53 total, compared to 31 for the 49ers.) Washington also gets great pressure and has picked up 162 sacks in 75 sims.
Packers DST at Minnesota Vikings, $2,600 — The Packers get a favorable matchup against the Vikings’ sputtering offense, so it’s surprising to see them as the cheapest DST on the board. In their 76 sims, Green Bay has totaled 162 sacks but only created 24 takeaways, which is why they aren’t as elite as Washington, although they do offer good upside for $500 less.
