Madden Stream Picks: Top DraftKings Fantasy Football DFS Targets, Values for June 1

Zach Thompson gives his top studs and value plays at each position for Tuesday’s three-game Madden Stream DraftKings slate, which starts at 6:00 p.m. ET.

After finishing Week 3 of the Madden simulated season early in the day on Tuesday, the DraftKings Dream Stream kicks off the fourth round of games at 6:00 p.m. ET. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals get Week 4 underway at 6:00 p.m. ET, which also starts the featured late classic slate. At 8:00 p.m. ET in primetime, the Tennessee Titans visit the New York Jets, and in the final game of the day, the Detroit Lions visit the Chicago Bears in an NFC North matchup.

You can keep up with the standings as the season continues and check out the depth charts for each team. If you’re looking for gameplay details for these sims along with the upcoming schedule, head over to the Madden Streams Information Page.

Mitchell Trubisky, Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions, $7,400 — Trubisky has three touchdown passes in each of his first three sims in this Madden season, posting over 25 DKFP in each contest. In his two earlier matchups against the Lions, Trubisky had 18.72 and 22.98 DKFP, and he has averaged over 20 DKFP in his 82 sims in Madden 21. Trubisky has a very high ceiling due to his rushing potential and his favorable matchup against Detroit.

Other Option — Joe Burrow ($6,500)

Gardner Minshew II, Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinnati Bengals, $6,100 — Minshew has a favorable matchup against the Bengals and has helped the Jags win two straight games to jump to the top of the AFC South. Minshew has multiple touchdowns and over 16 DKFP in five of the past six contests, including one game against these same Bengals in which he posted 16.36 DKFP. He has totaled 127 touchdowns in his 82 sims and is the best affordable QB on this slate.

Other Option — Sam Darnold ($5,500)

Running Back

Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans at New York Jets, $7,500 — Henry had two touchdowns against the Colts in his most recent sim and now has six scores in his three games this season, producing 16.4, 41.5 and 26.4 DKFP. He has scored a total of 86 touchdowns in his 85 sims in Madden 21 and is averaging a slate-high 21.0 DKFP per contest. Henry is an expensive play, but he’s a strong centerpiece to consider building around in this matchup against the Jets.

Other Options — Le’Veon Bell ($7,100), Chris Thompson ($6,800)

D’Andre Swift, Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears, $4,700 — Swift has produced multiple catches in 25 of his past 26 sims and is one of the few reliable fantasy plays in the Lions’ offense. He had 10 catches and 17.1 DKFP in one of those games and has put up over 7.0 DKFP in five of his past six contests with two touchdowns during that span, making him a solid play with a nice ceiling for under $5K.

Other Option — Tarik Cohen ($4,600)

Wide Receiver

DJ Chark Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinnati Bengals, $6,500 — Chark has been very busy as the Jags’ WR1, averaging 3.6 catches for 59.7 yards per sim. He recently had five catches, 58 yards and 10.8 DKFP against the Bengals in a meeting just before the season started and posted 25.8, 17.0 and 27.1 DKFP in his three sims in the season. Chark had double-digit DKFP in nine of his past 13 sims and continues to be a consistently strong play alongside Minshew when the Jags are rolling.

Other Option — Allen Robinson II ($5,500), Marvin Jones Jr. ($5,300)

Anthony Miller, Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions, $4,900 — Miller has been hit-or-miss as the Bears’ WR2 but he has stepped up lately with three touchdowns over his past five games and over 14 DKFP in four of those five contests. He had two touchdowns and 19.8 DKFP against the Lions in one of their earlier meetings in Madden 21, and he has totaled 20 scores in 81 sims.

Breshad Perriman, New York Jets vs. Tennessee Titans, $4,200 — Another WR who has been inconsistent but has a very high ceiling is Perriman, who is the WR2 for the Jets. Perriman has posted over 100 yards in two of his three games this season, finishing with 21.4, 8.2 and 24.3 DKFP. He definitely can be boom-or-bust but has too much upside to overlook at this ultra-cheap salary.

Other Options — Tyler Boyd ($4,700), Dede Westbrook ($4,400), Danny Amendola ($4,100), Adam Humphries ($4,000)

Tight End

Jonnu Smith, Tennessee Titans at New York Jets, $4,900 — Smith had four catches in each of his past two sims, posting 9.5 and 7.4 DKFP. He has over 7.0 DKFP in 14 of his past 16 sims overall and is a regular part of the Titans’ offense, averaging 4.6 catches for 49.0 yards per game over his 85 sims.

Other Option — T.J. Hockenson ($5,100)

C.J. Uzomah, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, $4,400 — Uzomah is averaging 4.1 catches per sim and has at least four catches in six straight contests coming into this matchup with the Jaguars. He had five catches and 18.5 DKFP in his recent matchup with Jacksonville’s defense, which has struggled to defend opposing TEs throughout these Madden 21 sims.

Other Option — Tyler Eifert ($4,700)

Titans DST at New York Jets, $3,100 — The Titans have nine sacks and 4.3 DKFP per game in their three games in the current season, but they have been a little better than that average over their 85 Madden 21 sims overall, producing 5.1 DKFP on 182 sacks, 62 takeaways and nine defensive touchdowns. They have a good matchup in what should be a run-focused, low-scoring sim against the Jets.

Jaguars DST at Cincinnati Bengals, $3,000 — The Jags had two sacks and just 1.0 DKFP in their recent matchup with the Bengals but posted a much better 7.0 DKFP in their earlier Madden 21 meeting. Rookie QB Joe Burrow ($6,500) has been turnover-prone at times, so it’s a solid matchup for the Jaguars, who have multiple sacks in four straight sims and at least 6.0 DKFP in three of their past five contests.
