Madden Stream Picks: Top DraftKings Fantasy Football DFS Targets, Values for June 13

Zach Thompson gives his top studs and value plays at each position for Sunday’s three-game Madden Stream DraftKings slate, which starts at 6:00 p.m. ET.

We’ve got some solid Sunday Night Football on tap on the DraftKings Dream Stream as the Madden simulated season continues Week 8. The featured classic contest gets underway at 6:00 p.m. ET when the Los Angeles Rams host the New England Patriots in a battle of division leaders. At 8:00 p.m. ET in primetime, the Seattle Seahawks host the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Denver Broncos welcome in the Washington Football Team in the late game.

You can keep up with the standings as the season continues and check out the depth charts for each team. If you’re looking for gameplay details for these sims along with the upcoming schedule, head over to the Madden Streams Information Page.

Quarterback

Stud

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, $7,700 — Wilson had over 21 DKFP in six straight sims before slipping up with just 18.2 DKFP and two fumbles vs. the Rams. He looks to get back on track vs. the Jaguars in a good matchup, having produced 22.86 and 29.36 DKFP in Seattle’s two previous meetings vs. Jacksonville. Wilson has averaged 191.2 passing yards and 59.6 rushing yards over his 89 sims with a total of 161 touchdowns, 43 of which came on the ground. His rushing potential makes him a high-upside play on any slate, and there is no QB available that comes anywhere close to his level of potential vs. the Jags.

Value

Dwayne Haskins Jr., Washington Football Team at Denver Broncos, $5,700 — While the Denver and Washington have been awful in simland this season, the Broncos’ secondary is a favorable enough matchup that even Haskins is a play to consider against them. Haskins has had plenty of bust games, but he does have a boom performance every once in a while. He had 18.08 DKFP in his most recent matchup vs. Denver and over 18 DKFP in three of his six most recent contests, as well. If Haskins gets into that range on Sunday night, he could be a sneaky solid QB play that saves you salary to stack starts in other spots.

Other Options — Gardner Minshew II ($6,100), Justin Herbert ($6,000)

Running Back

Stud

Austin Ekeler, Los Angeles Chargers vs. New England Patriots, $7,800 — Versatile workhorse backs like Ekeler typically put up big games vs. the Patriots, who have an elite secondary that forces teams to check down to backs out of the backfield and run the ball more. Ekeler is averaging a solid 19.7 DKFP on 71.3 rushing yards, 29.2 receiving yards and 3.7 catches per sim while scoring an impressive total of 77 touchdowns in 88 sims.

Other Options — Chris Thompson ($6,700), J.D. McKissic ($6,300)

Value

Phillip Lindsay, Denver Broncos vs. Washington Football Team, $5,300 — Linsday is the Broncos’ third-down back and has averaged 3.6 catches per contest. If he gets four catches vs. Washington, he’ll reach 300 receptions total to go with his 17 touchdowns and 24.6 receiving yards per sim. He has over 13 DKFP in three of his past four games and usually gets plenty of catches since the Broncos have to air it out late when playing from behind.

Other Options — Carlos Hyde ($4,600), James White ($4,300)

Wide Receiver

Stud

DJ Chark Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars at Seattle Seahawks, $6,100 — The WRs on this slate are fairly uninspiring, but Chark has had some big games and usually is pretty involved for the Jaguars. He has at least four catches in five of his past seven games, along with five touchdowns over that span. He had two scores and 21 DKFP vs. Miami in his most recent sim and 27.1 DKFP vs. Arizona earlier in the season, so the upside is definitely there for the Jaguars’ WR1.

Other Options — Keenan Allen ($5,800), Courtland Sutton ($5,700)

Value

Joe Reed, Los Angeles Chargers vs. New England Patriots, $4,200 — Reed has at least four catches in four of his past five games with three touchdowns during that span, including one that sent the Chargers’ most recent game into overtime with no time remaining. Reed is the WR3, but that could actually help him avoid the best players in the Patriots’ secondary and get him more favorable matchups. He’s high-risk but comes with a high ceiling.

Dontrelle Inman, Washington Football Team at Denver Broncos, $3,600 — Inman is Washington’s WR3 but usually gets pretty solid playing time. He has multiple catches in eight straight sims, highlighted by a 100-yard, 20.5-DKFP game vs. the Saints. He has finished with six catches in each of his two earlier matchups vs. Denver, with 13 and 12.3 DKFP in those two games. He’s a great play at this price in the rematch Sunday night.

Other Options — Dede Westbrook ($5,100), Chris Conley ($4,500), Jerry Jeudy ($3,800)

Tight End

Stud

Devin Asiasi, New England Patriots at Los Angeles Chargers, $4,800 — Asiasi has been the most productive of the TEs on this slate, averaging 11.1 DKFP over his 86 sims on 4.2 catches for 44.5 yards per game and 34 touchdowns. Asiasi didn’t have a breakout in real life in his rookie season, but in simland, he’s a very solid TE play.

Other Option — Greg Olsen ($5,000)

Value

Jeremy Sprinkle, Washington Football Team at Denver Broncos, $4,000 — Sprinkle had 15 DKFP in his most recent game vs. the Broncos and had over 11 DKFP in three of his past six contests. Like all of Washington’s offense, he can be a volatile play due to inconsistent QB play, but Sprinkle brings a lot of upside in a favorable matchup at only $4K.

Other Options — Tyler Eifert ($4,300), Hunter Henry ($4,100)

DST

Stud

Seahawks DST vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, $3,100 — The Seahawks have been the top DST in all of Madden 21 with 92 takeaways in 89 sims, along with 13 defensive touchdowns and 185 sacks. In a great matchup vs. Jacksonville, they get a slight nod over the Patriots DST ($3,200) and the Washington Football Team DST ($3,000), who have also been elite.

Value

Chargers DST vs. New England Patriots, $2,800 — The Bolts have a strong defense in Madden 21, as well, averaging 6.0 DKFP per sim. In 88 contests, the Chargers have 81 takeaways to go with 189 sacks and six defensive touchdowns. They aren’t quite as productive at the top options, but they’re also a little cheaper.
