Madden Stream Picks: Top DraftKings Fantasy Football DFS Targets, Values for June 20

Zach Thompson gives his top studs and value plays at each position for Sunday’s three-game Madden Stream DraftKings slate, which starts at 6:00 p.m. ET.

The DraftKings Dream Stream has a jam-packed Sunday of simulated football on tap with six games on the schedule as the Madden simulated season continues. At 6:00 p.m. ET, the San Francisco 49ers and the Jacksonville Jaguars get the featured three-game classic slate underway from the virtual Sunshine State. The latter two games are both divisional contests, starting with an AFC South showdown between the Houston Texans and the Tennessee Titans at 8:00 pm. ET. The Madden After Dark matchup at 10:00 p.m. ET is an NFC North contest between the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings.

As you build your lineups, be sure to consider the depth charts for each team. If you’re looking for gameplay details for these sims along with the upcoming schedule, head over to the Madden Streams Information Page.

Quarterback

Stud

Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans, $8,500 — Watson is averaging an impressive 23.8 DKFP per sim in his 88 sims in Madden 21 by producing 196 passing yards and 71.5 rushing yards per game while running for 39 touchdowns and passing for 127 more scores. He has multiple touchdown passes and over 18 DKFP in six straight games while averaging 30.4 DKFP over that span. He also had over 18 DKFP in two of his three matchups vs. the Titans and comes with the highest ceiling of any QB on the slate.

Other Option — Aaron Rodgers ($7,300)

Value

Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers at Jacksonville Jaguars, $5,900 — Of the three QBs under $6K, Jimmy G has the most upside, partly due to his great matchup vs. the Jaguars. In his two previous contests vs. Jacksonville, Garoppolo posted 22.34 and 26 DKFP, throwing for a total of seven touchdowns and over 500 yards. Jimmy G has helped the 49ers to a 7-1 start, which is enough to put them atop the NFC West in the Madden Simulated Season. Posting over 15 DKFP in 10 of his past 14 games, San Francisco’s starting QB is a relatively safe play under $6K, even though he doesn’t bring nearly as high a ceiling as Watson.

Other Option — Gardner Minshew II ($5,700)

Running Back

Stud

Dalvin Cook, Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers, $8,400 — Cook has scored eight touchdowns in his past five games, averaging 27.3 DKFP per sim over that stretch. He has a total of 95 touchdowns in 85 sims in Madden 21, averaging 82.2 rushing yards and 34.5 receiving yards on 4.3 catches per sim. Cook brings a very high floor as the focal point of the Vikings’ offense, along with an extremely high ceiling, which he showcased with over 50 DKFP vs. the Giants in an earlier sim. He also produced over 19 DKFP in three of his four previous meetings vs. the Packers, highlighted by a 33.5-DKFP performance in which he had one rushing touchdown, one receiving touchdown and 155 total yards.

Other Options — Derrick Henry ($8,100), Raheem Mostert ($7,500), Aaron Jones ($6,700)

Value

Duke Johnson, Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans, $4,200 — Five of the six teams on this slate only use one running back, leaving only Texans as a timeshare to target for value plays. Duke Johnson is the third-down back for Houston, and he had a touchdown and 8.6 DKFP in one of his earlier matchups vs. Tennessee. He has a total of 18 scores in 82 sims and put up over 7 DKFP in four of his past nine games. He’s boom-or-bust, but he’s the best RB option under $6K with such limited options in play.

Wide Receiver

Stud

Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings, $6,500 — The Vikings have no answer for Adams, who has posted over 22 DKFP in three of his past four matchups vs. Minnesota. The Packers’ WR1 has 47 touchdowns in 89 contests and has averaged 69.7 yards on 4.7 catches per sim. He has over 60 yards in four of his past five games and six touchdowns in his past seven sims. He should be poised for another big game in this rematch vs. the Vikings.

Other Options — A.J. Brown ($6,000), DJ Chark Jr. ($5,500)

Value

Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers at Jacksonville Jaguars, $4,600 — Deebo is also a WR1, but he has been much more inconsistent than Adams. He is in a great matchup on this slate, though, and that could make him a great value under $5K. He had two touchdowns and 34.6 DKFP in his first matchup vs. the Jaguars and followed that up with another score and 13.2 DKFP in the rematch. He can sometimes be boom-or-bust, but he has produced multiple catches in six straight sims.

Adam Humphries, Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans, $3,800 — If you decide to pay way up for multiple RBs, you may have to go ultra-cheap at WR. Humphries brings solid upside under $4K and had 12.9 DKFP in his most recent matchup vs. the Texans, who have struggled defensively against WRs. Humphries is averaging 7.2 DKFP on 2.8 catches for 31.4 yards per sim.

Other Options — Dede Westbrook ($4,900), Marquez Valdes-Scantling ($4,500), Corey Davis ($4,200)

Tight End

Stud

George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers at Jacksonville Jaguars, $5,400 — Kittle has exactly five catches and one touchdown in each of his previous two games vs. the Jaguars, posting 14.6 and 17.6 DKFP. He has scored 33 touchdowns in 86 sims while averaging 14 DKFP on 5.1 catches for 60.9 yards per game. Kittle has over 13 DKFP in four straight with touchdowns in three of those four games.

Other Options — Jonnu Smith ($4,600), Darren Fells ($4,400)

Value

Marcedes Lewis, Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings, $3,500 — Lewis is another bargain-basement play that can help you save salary for RBs. He had six catches for 12.6 DKFP in one of his other matchups vs. the Vikings. He has multiple catches in 14 straight sims, making him a solid salary saver.

Other Option — Tyler Eifert ($3,800)

DST

Stud

Titans DST vs. Houston Texans, $3,000 — The Titans are the only DST on this slate averaging over 5.0 DKFP per sim. They have 69 takeaways, 10 touchdowns and 199 sacks in their 92 games. The Texans have been turnover-prone when Deshaun Watson tries to do too much, so the Titans have nice upside in this divisional contest.

Value

Vikings DST vs. Green Bay Packers, $2,700 — The Vikings’ offense has struggled, but their defense has actually been pretty good. They have 152 sacks and 45 takeaways in their 85 sims and have at least 4 DKFP in three of their four games vs. the Packers. Although they may not have quite the upside Tennessee possesses, they’re the best value play available.
