Alvaro Morata ($8,400)
Morata started the European Championship short of confidence and form. That was a result of some lackluster form for Juventus in the Serie A. He also missed a penalty against Slovakia earlier in the competition. However, he has returned to form with aplomb, scoring a majestic goal against Croatia in extra time to regain some lost fluency. He has taken 14 shots, second most in Euro 2020. Eight of those have been on target, joint highest in the competition.
Romelu Lukaku ($8,000)
Lukaku hasn’t set the stage alight for Belgium this season. At least, not like he did in the qualifying stage ahead of the main tournament. Lukaku has taken just nine shots on goal, with four on target and two off target. Yet, he works diligently and wins important one-on-one battles. Case in point was the work he put in to keep the ball alive for Belgium which eventually led to Kevin De Bruyne’s wonder goal against Denmark.
Other to consider: Ciro Immobile ($8,800)
Lorenzo Insigne ($10,000)
Italy has taken the most attempts on goal at Euro 2020 so far. Insigne has played a major part in that proficiency in helping Italy transition seamlessly from the middle to the final third. He has taken 11 shots with one goal so far at this competition. Even though his DraftKings price of $10,000 is relatively high, he has enough precision and composure to convert a chance should he receive one against Belgium.
Pablo Sarabia ($7,300)
Sarabia continues to be under-valued in this Spain team. He has already shown his propensity to move forward in an attacking phase and finish the move with a goal. He has scored two goals so far at this competition. In an offensive context, he has taken eight shots on goal. Four of those have been on target and four off, including one which hit the woodwork. He has also averaged 15.8 DKFP per game so far.
Other to consider: Thorgan Hazard ($5,800)
Cesar Azpilicueta ($5,200)
Azpilicueta will continue to be a key part of Spain’s defense. More than his contribution, it’s the way Spain plays its soccer that should make him a compelling fantasy selection. Spain is one of the strongest defensive teams in the competition, the last match against Croatia not withstanding. Against Switzerland, you would expect Azpilicueta to keep a clean sheet.
Thomas Meunier ($4,700)
Meunier is not just a strong defensive option but also one to consider in an attacking phase. While there isn’t much statistical evidence to back that statement up, if you have been watching Belgium closely, you would have seen his contributions as Belgium transitions across the phases of a soccer pitch. He has averaged a solid 12.6 DKFP per game to date as well.
Unai Simon ($5,600)
Simon pulled off one of the saves of the tournament to deny Croatia in extra time in the Round of 16. While he has made just five saves with two clean sheets at Euro 2020 so far, he will be one of Spain’s most crucial cogs if there is a successful quarter-final against Switzerland.
Other to consider: Thibaut Courtois ($4,400)
