Stud
Harry Kane ($9,700)
By his usual lofty standards, Harry Kane has had a subpar tournament so far. However, the best players stand up at the most important moments. Kane was picked out by a beautiful pass by Jack Grealish and headed home England’s match-winner against Germany to confirm qualification into the quarter-finals. He has just two shots on target at Euro 2020. That moment against Germany was one of those. Although, he has just six attempts on goal, expect that to increase drastically by the end of the tournament.
Value
Patrik Schick ($7,600)
Schick has had an outstanding competition to date. In fact, his finishing prowess is arguably the most important reason Czech Republic has scored enough goals to progress to this stage of the tournament. He has scored four goals to date at Euro 2020, including a composed finish against Netherlands to double the lead. He has taken 13 shots in this competition with eight on target.
Other to consider: Martin Brathwaite ($8,600)
Midfielders
Stud
Raheem Sterling ($9,300)
England hasn’t scored too many goals at this tournament. Sterling is easily the team’s leading goal-scorer, having contributed with three of the team’s four goals at this Euro Cup. He even scored against Germany from the six-yard box. He has taken seven shots on goal with four on target.
Value
Pierre-Emile Højbjerg ($5,100)
An important point to note here is that Højbjerg is a holding midfielder. His progress into the final third will be limited but it will certainly take place. Similar to how he plays with Tottenham in the English Premier League, he will help his team transition across phases. That is how he has racked up seven attempts on goal, same as Sterling. And his price is significantly cheaper.
Other to consider: Andriy Yarmolenko ($6,900)
Defenders
Stud
Luke Shaw ($6,600)
Stacking from England makes a lot of sense. England is yet to concede a goal at this tournament. Luke Shaw has been a big part of that England defense, moving up and down the left flank to create chances. He has put up 12 DKFP per game so far in this competition. Despite his price, he is incredibly useful, particularly considering his offensive capability.
Value
Harry Maguire ($4,100)
Joining Shaw at the back is his Manchester United colleague Harry Maguire, who had to miss the early part of the tournament as he recovered from injury. Now fit, Maguire is a pivotal cog for England. He is also a useful offensive option from dead-ball situations. Ukraine is a massive underdog in this game. Even though the possibilities are open, it’s hard to see Ukraine getting one goal passed this defense.
Goalkeepers
Jordan Pickford ($5,800)
So compact has been England’s defense that Pickford has had to make just seven saves en route to four clean sheets. He has been helped by some astonishing misses, like Thomas Muller in the previous game. He has made four punches to clear the area. This stack from England is plausibly the safest route to capitalize on fantasy points.
Other to consider: Kasper Schmeichel ($5,300)
