Quarterback
Stud
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Indianapolis Colts, $7,400 — Mahomes is the only QB in the Madden ratings used for these sims with a perfect 99 overall rating, and he has lived up to that rating by averaging 24.6 DKFP on 289.4 passing yards per sim and throwing for 258 scores in 108 sims while also adding 20 rushing touchdowns. Mahomes has shredded just about every opponent but has had a special level of success against the Colts’ lowly-rated secondary, putting up 26.16, 21.28 and 32.42 DKFP in his three previous contests vs. Indianapolis. Mahomes also has at least 36 DKFP in three of his four most recent sims.
Other Option — Kyler Murray ($7,100)
Value
Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns vs. New York Giants, $6,100 — While Mayfield can’t match Mahomes’ consistency, his ceiling is extremely high, and on his good days, he is able to provide elite production. Against the Giants, he had 19.84 and 26.74 DKFP in two earlier sims with five total touchdowns in those contests. Mayfield comes with some bust potential, as well, posting under 7 DKFP in two of his past three games, but he brings a high enough ceiling into this favorable matchup to be a high-risk, high-reward pivot play if you need the salary savings.
Other Options — Ben Roethlisberger ($6,300), Daniel Jones ($5,900)

Running Back
Stud
Raheem Mostert, San Francisco 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals, $7,500 — Mostert has scored exactly 100 touchdowns in 101 sims while averaging 21.4 DKFP on 82 rushing yards, 29.5 receiving yards and 3.5 catches per contest. He typically gets an immense workload in the 49ers’ run-heavy offense and has posted at least 13 DKFP in each of his six previous matchups vs. the Cardinals, including three games over 24 DKFP and even a ceiling game of 39.2 DKFP.
Other Options — Saquon Barkley ($7,900), Clyde Edwards-Helaire ($6,700)
Value
Nyheim Hines, Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs, $5,600 — Even though he shares work with Marlon Mack ($3,900), Hines has been a reliable fantasy producer as the Colts’ third-down RB. He has averaged 4.3 catches for 35 yards per sim and scored a total of 40 touchdowns in 96 contests. He has over 12 DKFP in four straight sims and seven of his past nine. He also has been consistently involved when the Colts have faced the Chiefs, producing 9.7, 15.1 and 8.8 DKFP in their three meetings with at least three catches in each of those sims.
Other Options — Jaylen Samuels ($5,100), Kareem Hunt ($4,600)
Wide Receiver
Stud
Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Indianapolis Colts, $7,900 — Hill has been fantastic throughout Madden 21, producing an average of 6.3 catches for 93 yards per game and scoring an incredible 99 touchdowns over his 108 sims. He has absolutely crushed the Colts, finishing with 36.5, 34 and 32.1 DKFP in their three previous meetings. Even though he’s so expensive, he’s hard to pass up with such a high ceiling and such a high probability of reaching that ceiling in this matchup.
Other Option — JuJu Smith-Schuster ($7,100), Odell Beckham Jr. ($6,000)
Value
Sterling Shepard, New York Giants at Cleveland Browns, $5,100 — Shepard has scored four touchdowns over his past seven games and has reached double-digit DKFP in six of his past nine. He had 10.4 DKFP in his most recent matchup vs. the Browns and has averaged 11.6 DKFP on 3.5 catches for 53.6 yards per sim.
Parris Campbell, Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs, $3,900 — Campbell has been boom-or-bust in these sims but comes with an attractive upside, especially for GPP contests. Campbell has averaged 3.6 catches for 41.5 yards per sim and scored 24 touchdowns. His speed gives him breakaway potential on every catch, and he has at least six catches for at least 10 DKFP in two of his three previous meetings vs. the Chiefs.
Other Options — Sammy Watkins ($4,900), Kendrick Bourne ($4,500), Diontae Johnson ($4,300), Darius Slayton ($4,100)

Tight End
Stud
Eric Ebron, Pittsburgh Steelers at New York Jets, $5,200 — Ebron has been one of the most consistent TEs in Madden 21 and the Steelers’ most reliable pass catcher. He had a down game in his most recent sim, but had reeled off 10 straight contests with at least 11 DKFP before that, highlighted by a 32.2-DKFP performance vs. the Ravens.
Other Options — Travis Kelce ($5,800), Evan Engram ($5,000)
Value
Maxx Williams, Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers, $3,800 — Williams is a good way to save some salary at TE or flex if you have to pay up at other positions. While his production has been inconsistent overall, he has excelled vs. the 49ers with at least five catches in their three most recent matchups, posting 14.8, 11.2 and 9 DKFP.
Other Option — Trey Burton ($4,800)
DST
Stud
Steelers DST at New York Jets, $3,200 — The Steelers have 196 sacks and 93 takeaways in 101 sims, averaging 6 DKFP per contest. The Jets’ offense has been inconsistent and mistake-prone at times, and the Steelers make big plays, so this should be a good spot to pay up for Pittsburgh.
Value
Chiefs DST vs. Indianapolis Colts, $2,800 — The Chiefs usually have chances to make big plays since other teams have to be extremely aggressive to try and keep up with the Chiefs’ offense. The Colts have a decent offensive line, but the Chiefs have totaled 182 sacks and 68 takeaways to average 4.3 DKFP per contest, making them a solid value option vs. Indianapolis.
