Amanda Nunes defenders her featherweight title against Felicia Spencer in the main event of UFC 250 on June 6th. We break down how the betting public is picking the fight.

Update 12:35 am: Amanda Nunes wins by unanimous decision (50-44, 50-44, 50-45).

Props to Felicia Spencer for hanging in there, as she got beaten up for five rounds by what was clearly the more talented fighter, but it was never close.

Update, 3:30 pm: We’ve got updated DraftKings Sportsbook betting splits for Nunes-Spencer money line odds a few hours before UFC 250 gets going. 76 percent of handle and 81 percent of bets are on Nunes, who is -625, to Spencer’s +450 on fight day.

It’s no surprise that two-belt champion Amanda Nunes is a massive favorite in her battle with Canadian Felicia Spencer tonight at UFC 250. But is there value to be found somewhere on the betting lines for the UFC featherweight championship?

Nunes is widely-considered the GOAT of women’s MMA fighters, and her 19-4 career record includes 10 straight victories since March of 2015. When she wins, it’s often by knockout with 13 KO/TKO stoppages. And despite the -182 price being laid, 60% of bets and 59% of the dollars are on her knocking out her Canadian opponent.

Spencer has nothing to lose tonight, and brings in an 8-1 record with six stoppages and four submissions. If she can find a way to pull the biggest upset in UFC women’s history since Holly Holm stunned the world by beating Ronda Rousey, you can get quite the price on a stoppage: It’s +1100 to make Nunes tap, and +1800 to knock her out. But combined, both outcomes are only getting 10% of the action as of now.

Here are the betting splits at DraftKings Sportsbook for Amanda Nunes vs. Felicia Spencer at UFC 250 on June 6th.

The two-division champion Nunes faces a Canadian with stopping power in the main event of UFC 250 in Felicia Spencer. We break down DFS considerations.

UFC 250 features likely the best women’s fighter of all time in Amanda Nunes facing Canadian Felicia Spencer in the main event of the evening.

DraftKings DFS Values

Amanda Nunes: $9,400
Felicia Spencer: $6,800

The fantasy implications of this fight are interesting, and it might not make sense to have either fighter on your roster. Nunes has the largest price of all 24 contenders on the card at $9,400, but her last seven fights have been pretty polar; she’s won four times in the first round by stoppage, but also three times in the fifth round, and two of those were by decision.

With a strike rate of 4.62 per round, and just 1.78 takedowns per 15 minutes of octagon time, her counting stats aren’t the highest. Any fighter is always worth the price if a first-round KO is assured with a 90 point win bonus, but that might not happen here as Spencer’s only career loss was by decision.

Meanwhile Spencer will want to fight on the ground, but that should be a struggle to shoot on the best female to ever do it. Her $6,800 is a bargain if she’s a winner, but she’s a +475 underdog for a reason. Her four career first-round stoppages might seem tempting, but those were fights against nowhere near the caliber of what she’s facing on Saturday.

The main event should be an exciting fight with contrasting styles, but it might be one to avoid for DFS purposes.

We’ve got a full breakdown of all the betting splits as to how the fights will finish at UFC 250 on Saturday in Las Vegas.

UFC 250 is one day away, with a main event featuring Amanda Nunes defending her featherweight title against Felicia Spencer. The 12-fight card gets underway just after 6 p.m. on ESPN, with the main card airing on ESPN+ as a PPV.

DraftKings Sportsbook has a full list of odds for the event, and on Friday, we got a look at how people are betting on the winning method for 11 of the 12 fights. Plenty of bettors will put money down on who will win each fight outright. It takes a little more panache to not only analyze who will win, but also how that person will secure victory. Some are a little more obvious than others, but fights can be unpredictable.

Below is a look at betting splits on each fight, and we wanted to highlight some of the more interesting numbers. We don’t have numbers for Ian Heinisch vs. Gerald Meerschaert because it was pulled from the sportsbook when it was uncertain if the fight would happen.

It looks like the sharp bettors are aware that if Spencer hits her Hail Mary and wins this fight, it won’t be from the judges. The Canadian “Fee-Nom” is getting 5% of handle and 6% of bets on a KO/TKO/DQ win at +1800, which seems the sharper bet than a +1200 win by decision.

Undefeated Sean O’Malley has an 11-0 record, and eight stoppages in his UFC career. It’s why he’s getting 75% of the bets and a whopping 91% of the handle at -118 to end Eddie Wineland early. But while the 35-year-old Wineland, with a 24-13-1 MMA record, is a significant underdog at +360, he might be able to survive the distance here: only seven of his 13 defeats were stoppages. There might be more value in O’Malley by decision at +225 instead, where just 5% of the handle is right now.

Alonzo Menifield By KO, TKO or DQ is both one of the sharpest and most popular bets on the board. It’s receiving 75% of the bets and an astonishing 86% of the handle at -143. And it could get worse before the bell: Menifield’s last four fights haven’t even made it to Round 2.

Jussier Formiga and Alex Perez are two veteran flyweights that fight in an experienced style. Neither have statistics that are particularly active, and they might be just settling in for a long 15 minutes of dancing and minimal contact. Both of them have more than half their wins go to the cards, and this one seems destined for a longer ring time. Grabbing both Perez at +175 to win by decision (receiving 32% of bets and 66% of action right now) as well as Formiga at +180 and hoping the finish the fight might have some value.

Cody Stamann is -139 to win via decision over Brian Kelleher, but that might be undervaluing his stopping power. He’s +650 to win by KO/TKO/DQ, and +1100 for a submission victory. Yes, his last four wins have come via the cards, but he’s shown an ability to win quickly in the past. A small flyer on each of the early stoppages might have some value in a fight he should win as a -275 favorite on the money line.

UFC 250 brings with it a Millionaire DFS contest at DraftKings. We’ve got a look at pricing to open the week.

UFC is back this Saturday with its second PPV since resuming its schedule amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. UFC 250 will take place in Las Vegas the organization’s Apex facility, with the early preliminary card getting started just after 6 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

This weekend’s card is headlined by a women’s featherweight title bout between champion Amanda Nunes and challenger Felicia Spencer. We also get a pair of men’s bantamweight contender matchups. Aljamain Sterling and Cory Sandhagen face off in the penultimate fight of the underdcard, and Raphal Assuncao and Cody Garbrandt are the final fight before the main event.

DraftKings is back for another weekend of MMA DFS, and UFC 250 brings with it a Millionaire contest. For $25, you draft 6 fighters for a chance at $1 million and a chance to compete at the Fantasy Tournament of Champions during Super Bowl weekend for another $1 million prize.

We’ve listed out the prices below, along with fantasy performance per fight, and will break down the best options later in the week. Right off the bat, Sandhagen offers some decent value. He’s averaged the second most fantasy points per fight, but at $8,000 is the 12th most expensive fighter. He’s a slight underdog to Sterling, installed by DraftKings Sportsbook at -106 to Sterling’s -118. It’s a gamble, but not a huge roll of the dice compared to other fighters on the card.

We’ll be back later in the week with more to help you get ready for the Millionaire contest.

UFC 250 is a week away. We run through where the odds stand Sunday morning for the next UFC PPV.

UFC has been back in action the past three weeks, and on Saturday, June 6th, the organization will hold a PPV in Las Vegas for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic started. UFC held its first few events in Jacksonville, Florida, but returned to Las Vegas this past Saturday for UFC on ESPN 9 as the state of Nevada starts to re-open.

UFC 250 is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The 11-fight card is headlined by Amanda Nunes defending her featherweight title against Felicia Spencer. The card includes two contender matchups at the men’s bantamweight class. Fifth ranked Raphael Assuncao faces ninth ranked Cody Garbrandt, and second ranked Aljamain Sterling faces fourth ranked Cory Sandhagen.

DraftKings Sportsbook has a full list of odds for UFC 250, and we’ve started to see some movement on a couple of the fights. The main event has been open the longest, and Nunes is getting heavy action. Also, the top fight on the preliminary card has seen some movement with money coming in on Chase Hooper vs. Alex Caceres.

The two-belt champion in the UFC is a heavy favorite, but the bettors might be leaning towards her Canadian challenger

Amanda Nunes is putting one of her two UFC title belts on the line on June 6th, fighting Felicia Spencer for the featherweight division championship at a location that the promotion appears to be hoping to hold at the UFC Apex Arena in Las Vegas.

Nunes is one of the most dominant women’s fighters ever, with a 19-4 career record and wins over the biggest names in women’s MMA such as Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate, Cris Cyborg, and Holly Holm. Her 10-fight win streak across two weight classes shows her dominance, and is why she’s such a heavy favorite.

Spencer is a submission specialist with a 7-1 career mark, but not nearly the CV of Nunes. In terms of common opponents, her only career loss is to Cyborg, but she rebounded with a knockout win over Zarah Fairn on February 29th of this year.

Right now most of the money and wagers are on Nunes, but there seems to be sharper action on the underdog, who is getting only 19% of the bets but 30% of the action.
