The Greek Freak captures the most prestigious individual honor of the postseason as the Bucks clinch the title over the Suns.

The Milwaukee Bucks have clinched the 2021 NBA championship after defeating the Phoenix Suns 4-2 in the NBA Finals. The Bucks won four straight games in the series to clinch the title.

It’s no surprise Milwaukee superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is Finals MVP, averaging 35.2 points, 13.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game in the series. Antetokounmpo looked questionable to play at the start of the series due to a hyperextended knee he suffered against the Atlanta Hawks, but the Greek Freak did one better. He played the full series and showed little to no effects of the injury for much of it, outside of some tense moments in Game 1.

Antetokounmpo was -400 as the favorite among Milwaukee’s players to win the honor. He was +380 to win, according to DraftKings Sportsbook at the start of the Finals, even with his health in question. Khris Middleton was second at +550.

Antetokounmpo was the 15th pick in the 2013 NBA draft out of Greece, where he played at Filathlitikos. He signed a contract with CAI Zaragoza, but had offers from bigger clubs in Europe including Barcelona and Efes. While Antetokounmpo struggled early in his NBA career, his physical tools and potential were clear.

After three seasons, he became an All-Star. He went on to win back-to-back MVP awards while also capturing the league’s Defensive Player of the Year honor in 2020. The only thing missing was a championship; now that accolade has also been achieved along with Finals MVP honors.

Antetokounmpo would not have reached this point without Middleton, who has become a star in his own right. Included in Milwaukee’s trade for Brandon Knight, Middleton has emerged as a two-way force for the Bucks. He averaged in the Finals.

Jrue Holiday was Milwaukee’s big addition in the offseason after Antetokounmpo pushed for the club to show commitment to winning a title as he signed a maximum extension. The Bucks gave up a lot of draft capital and cap space to add Holiday, but he’s been a key piece of the title team.

All this was possible because of Antetokounmpo’s rise from a raw 15th pick to a superstar on both ends of the floor. The Bucks have done well to develop him and add the right talent around him. He’s now a champion and Finals MVP at age 26 with the prime of his career ahead. The NBA is entering a new era and it appears the Greek Freak is at the heart of it.

The Greek Freak dominated in the series-clinching victory to give Milwaukee its first title since 1971.

The 2021 NBA Finals could come to a close on Tuesday night. The Milwaukee Bucks are back at Fiserv Forum for Game 6 against the Phoenix Suns, leading the best-of-7 series 3-2 with a chance to clinch their first title since 1971. Giannis Antetokounmpo appears to be closing in on his first championship and a Finals MVP award. The Suns have lost three straight and will need to do everything right to force a Game 7 back in the desert.

Giannis enters the game as the favorite to win Finals MVP at -400. CP3 (+675) and Devin Booker (+600) have the best odds behind Giannis from the Suns. Ultimately, if the Bucks win, there’s a very good chance Antetokounmpo is your Finals MVP. If the Suns rally and win it all on Thursday, It’s a toss-up between Booker and CP3 with the young guard entering Game 6 with more of a shot.

As for odds on DraftKings Sportsbook, the Bucks are favored by 5 points at home in Game 6. The over/under is up to 222 points after we saw very little defense in Game 5 on Saturday. The Bucks are -195 on the moneyline while the Suns are +165. Most of the public is leaning on the Suns getting points and plus-odds on the moneyline.

In this file, we’ll be tracking all the latest updates during the game, providing stats so you can keep an eye on your player prop bets. We’ll also keep an eye on the betting splits and how the public did against the books in Game 6.

2021 NBA Finals: Suns vs. Bucks, Game 6 live updates

End of the fourth quarter — The Bucks are 2021 NBA champions! Milwaukee wins a fourth straight game after going down 2-0 to wrap up the series in six games. Giannis Antetokounmpo is the hero with 50 points in the clinching game at home. Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday struggled offensively, but made key shots and chipped in defensively as well.

The under hit, causing losses for most of the betting public. Bucks -4.5 hit as well. Bucks on the moneyline hit, much to dismay of bettors according to DraftKings Sportsbook’s data.

Devin Booker and Chris Paul were admirable for the Suns, combining for 45 points in the loss. Phoenix had its chances often, but failed to generate good looks consistently and didn’t get much from Deandre Ayton.

This is Milwaukee’s first championship since 1970-71 and has been a long time coming. Antetokounmpo caps off his ascent as the NBA’s next superstar with a championship and likely Finals MVP trophy to go along with regular season MVP awards and a Defensive Player of the Year trophy. At 26, he’s going to be a force for a long time.

11:34 p.m. — Middleton hits a clutch jumper to give the Bucks a 102-96 lead with under a minute to go. Antetokounmpo has been elite, putting up 49 points in the contest. The Suns need some triples to go down to have a chance, but this looks like a title-clinching game for Milwaukee. The under will hit. Depending on what the Suns do here late, the spread will be impacted. Currently, Bucks -4.5 is going to hit.

11:22 p.m. — The Bucks lead the Suns 94-90. It’s been a banner game for Antetokounmpo, who’s got 45 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks. Middleton and Holiday have combined to shoot 8-29, but Portis has stepped up with 16 points off the bench. Booker has 17 points for Phoenix and Paul’s got 24, but the guards are struggling to get easy looks and have made tough shots consistently. Just under five minutes left for either a Bucks championship or Game 7.

11:07 p.m. — The Bucks lead the Suns 84-82 early in the fourth quarter in a game that has seen some unlikely contributors. Frank Kaminsky is playing key minutes for the Suns while Bobby Portis has chipped in with 14 points off the bench for Milwaukee. The under is going to hit and Suns +4.5 is looking good as well. It’s about to be a crazy finish.

End of the third quarter — The Bucks and Suns are tied 77-77 and it’ll all come down to the final quarter. Either Milwaukee will be a title team or Phoenix will force a Game 7 at home. Antetokounmpo is up to 37 points and 10 rebounds. Devin Booker has 15 points for Phoenix. Paul will come back in the game soon after sitting out the end of the third quarter. The officials have let the teams play hard and there’s been a lot of contact on both sides.

10:44 p.m. — Ayton has four fouls and has not done much on either side of the court so far with 10 points and five rebounds. He’s 3-10 from the floor. The Bucks are leading the Suns 68-63.

10:42 p.m. — Brook Lopez just brought the house down.

10:35 p.m. — The Bucks have taken the lead back 58-55 with Antetokounmpo leading the way. He’s got 29 points and 10 rebounds and more importantly, is demanding the ball in the post. The Suns had gotten into a groove with Paul running pick-n-rolls but missed some shots and had a few bad turnovers of late.

Halftime — Both teams picked up the pace offensively in the second quarter. The Suns fought back from a 13-point deficit to hold a 47-42 lead at the break. Paul has 13 points on 6-10 shooting while Antetokounmpo leads the Bucks with 17 points and seven rebounds. Suns +4.5 is looking good at the moment, as is the under. Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday, the stars of Game 5, have shot 4-19.

Here’s the current spread, over/under and moneyline odds at DraftKings Sportsbook. The Bucks are still favored but at -1.5. The over/under is now 201.5. Milwaukee is -110 on the moneyline while Phoenix is -120.

9:55 p.m. — The Bucks had a 29-16 lead after the first quarter, but the Suns have come back to tie the game 33-33. Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton have struggled, combining to go 3-13 from the floor. Both teams have not been able to score, meaning the under is very much in play right now.

9:20 p.m. — It’s 6-5 Bucks at the first timeout and both teams have been awful offensively. They’ve combined to go 4-16 from the floor and have three turnovers each. Giannis Antetokounmpo has four points for Milwaukee early. Bettors who took the under are excited about this start.

9:15 p.m. — It’s been a rough start for both teams with some sloppy turnovers and poor shooting. Both teams have one basket in the first three minutes and change. Not looking good for bettors who took the over.

8:58 p.m. — Let’s take a look at the final spread, over/under and moneyline numbers before tip-off. The Bucks are favored at -4.5, which is slightly down from the -5 earlier. The over/under have moved to 220.5 after being as high at 222. Milwaukee is -180 and Phoenix is +155 on the moneyline.

We break down how the public is betting the player props market on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 6 of the 2021 NBA Finals between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns.

The Milwaukee Bucks will attempt to close out the 2021 NBA Finals with a fourth straight win over the Phoenix Suns, while the road team hopes to force a Game 7. Here are the most popular player props for Game 6 courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Khris Middleton to score the most points (-180)

Middleton has been an explosive scorer for the Bucks, averaging 25.4 points per game in the series. He’s put up 40 and 29 in the last two contests and typically plays better at home than on the road. Game 6 is a chance for Middleton to cement his star status with a big offensive performance.

Devin Booker over 30.5 points (-134)

Booker had back-to-back 40+ point games in Games 4 and 5, but the Suns were on the losing end of both contests. There’s a thought the star guard might defer more to get teammates involved before getting more aggressive in late-game situations. The betting public does not see it that way and expects the scoring barrage to continue.

Jrue Holiday to score the most points (-167)

Holiday broke out in Game 5 after a dismal shooting performance in Game 4, going 12-20 for 27 points while also dishing 13 assists. His defense and passing are always going to be factors, but Holiday’s scoring is what makes him a star. It’s hard to see him topping Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo, but enough bettors are backing him on this prop.

Jrue Holiday under 19.5 points (-107)

It might be confusing for people to see this prop immediately after one having Holiday as the game’s top scorer, but that means a lot of bettors also don’t trust his offensive output. The guard has rarely been good consistently and Game 6 might get ugly given how Game 5 went. Holiday is averaging 17.6 points per game in the series, so this will be close.

P.J. Tucker over 4.5 points (-103)

Tucker is usually a non-factor on offense, tallying zero points in Milwaukee’s Game 4 win before adding three in a Game 5 victory. It’s hard to bank on the small forward having enough offensive opportunities to put up five or more points. This is an interesting prop for bettors to take given how Milwaukee’s “Big 3” is playing right now. Le’t see if Tucker can pay off on this prop for the public.

Chris Paul and the Suns can’t be happy about this development.

The NBA has released the officiating crew for Game 6 of the NBA Finals and it’s not looking good for the Phoenix Suns.

Scott Foster, Eric Lewis and Tony Brothers will be on the floor as the Milwaukee Bucks look to win a fourth straight game over the Suns and capture the title. Foster was the referee in Milwaukee’s Game 3 victory, causing head coach Monty Williams to point out a free throw discrepancy after the game. The Bucks shot 26 free throws to Phoenix’s 16.

Chris Paul has a longstanding beef with Foster, explained in detail here.
The Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks are facing off in the 2021 NBA Finals. We go over how the public is betting Game 6 of the series.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns meet Tuesday night for Game 6 of the NBA Finals with the home team looking to close out the series on a four-game winning streak. The Suns will attempt to take a game on the road and force Game 7. Here’s how the public is approaching Game 6 in Milwaukee.

Below is a look at the betting splits among bettors at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Spread

The Bucks are favored a -5, but the bettors are backing Phoenix after two close contests. 59 percent of the money and 64 percent of wagers are coming in on the Suns at +5. The underdogs are expected to keep things tight again in Game 6.

Over/Under

Most of the money is actually coming in on the under at 222, but bettors are still mostly taking the over with 59 percent of wagers. Three of the five games in the Finals have gone over this line and Game 3 was a triple away from going over. The over is more likely to occur, even though bettors are putting bigger bets on the under.

Moneyline

Bettors are mostly backing the Bucks (-200) to close out the series in six games, but those backing the Suns (+170) are putting in more money with 65 percent of the money coming in on Phoenix.

Update: We’ve seen some steady movement toward the under at 222, down 2 percent from yesterday. Most of the spread and moneyline action is on the Suns, to cover and force Game 7. Phoenix came close enough in the past two games and should have some urgency with the season on the line.

We go over each category and give predictions for DraftKings pool for Game 6 as the Phoenix Suns face the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021 NBA Finals.

The Milwaukee Bucks are one win away from clinching the franchise’s first NBA championship since 1970-71 when they meet the Phoenix Suns in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The Suns have lost three straight games and now need to win on the road to force a Game 7 at home.

Below is a look at a number of predictions ahead of Tuesday night’s game for the Free $5K DraftKings Pools - Playoff Edition (PHX-MIL).

Bucks vs. Suns Game 6 pool picks

Which team will cover the spread? Bucks -4.5 or Suns +4.5

The Suns kept Games 4 and 5 close after getting blown out in Game 3. While they were on the losing end of both results, the Suns are not losing by big margins. The Bucks are favored at home where they’ve been unstoppable this postseason, but take Phoenix to cover the spread.

How many total points will be scored? Over/under 222.5

This line has moved up consistently throughout the series as both offenses keep clicking. Three of five games have gone over this line and Game 3 was a triple away from going over. Take the over at 222.5 for Game 6, even though the Suns have struggled to score in Milwaukee.

Which team will reach 15 points first?

The Bucks have won this battle three times, but the Suns have jumped out in front early in the last two meetings. Phoenix is the more desperate team in Game 6, but take the Bucks at home to win this category.

Which team will have more 3-pointers?

The Bucks have won this battle three times, with the Suns taking one and one being a tie. Both teams are starting to heat up from deep and both have shot at tremendous volume. Take Milwaukee in this one, but with caution. The Suns are likely to get their shooters more involved in Game 6.

Will Chris Paul and Jrue Holiday both have more than 8.5 assists?

Both guards continue to distribute the ball well in the Finals and Holiday has added scoring to his arsenal over the last three games. Paul started off the series strong, but has definitely cooled off. Take both players to get at least nine assists in Game 6.

Devin Booker points, rebounds and assists? Over/under 40.5

Booker put up 40+ points in back-to-back games and could totally shatter this line. However, the Suns will likely try to get other players more involved in this game. Take the under, only because Booker’s scoring might be affected by less opportunities for the sake of playing more team basketball.

Giannis Antetokounmpo points, rebounds and assists? Over/under 51.5

This line has moved down a bit since Antetokounmpo’s last two games, where he’s combining for 47.5 points, rebounds and assists per game. We’ve seen Antetokounmpo have a signature performance in a closeout game against the Brooklyn Nets and this could be one more thing to add to his growing legacy. Take the over here.

Which team wins the 4th quarter?

This category is 2-2 with one tie over the series. The Bucks are at home and will want to close things out in style, but the Suns are the team facing elimination. Phoenix will likely get some sort of run in the fourth quarter to win this category, but who knows whether it’ll be enough to win the game.

We go over the best player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook to consider for the Milwaukee Bucks heading into Game 6 of the 2021 NBA Finals.

The Milwaukee Bucks are one win away from the NBA title and will look to close things out at home when they face the Phoenix Suns in Game 6 of the NBA Finals Tuesday. The Bucks have rattled off three straight wins after going down 2-0 and will attempt to win the franchise’s first title since 1970-71.

Here are the top player props for the Bucks against the Suns in Game 6.

Milwaukee Bucks player props

Khris Middleton over 25.5 points (-120)

Middleton is on fire right now and is a big reason why the Bucks are nearly home in the title pursuit. He’s averaging 29.0 points per game in Milwaukee’s three victories and is shooting the ball extremely well. He’s also the Bucks’ closer, meaning he’s going to get a ton of shots late. Take the guard to go over 25.5 points in Game 6.

Giannis Antetokounmpo double-double (-600)

There’s not a lot of value here because the Greek Freak usually finds a way to reach this milestone. Antetokounmpo is averaging 32.2 points and 13.0 rebounds per game in the Finals and has a double-double in every single game except one. Take him to register one at home in Game 6.

Jrue Holiday over 8.5 assists (+115)

Holiday was a big scoring factor in Game 5, but the point guard is averaging 9.0 assists per game in the Finals. In Milwaukee’s three wins, Holiday is averaging 9.7 assists per game. While the shooting continues to be inconsistent, Holiday’s passing and defense remain solid. He’s Milwaukee’s third star and he is good value on this prop at + odds.

We go over the best player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook to consider for the Phoenix Suns heading into Game 6 of the 2021 NBA Finals.

The Phoenix Suns will look to keep their championship hopes alive when they face the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The Suns are down 3-2 after winning the opening two contests and now need to win the last two games to lift the trophy.

Here’s a look at three player props bettors should consider for the Suns in Game 6 against the Bucks.

Phoenix Suns player props

Mikal Bridges over 11.5 points (-105)

Bridges was great in Phoenix’s first two games, but saw his role surprisingly decrease and his offensive opportunities go away. A lot of that had to do with Booker’s great play in Games 4 and 5, but the Suns need to get their small forward going again. When Bridges plays well, Phoenix’s offense hits a new level and becomes harder to defend. Look for Monty Williams to get the young forward a lot of early looks in Game 6.

Devin Booker over 2.5 3-pointers (+105)

Booker has been amazing in the last two games, putting up back-to-back 40+ point performances. He’s only hit three triples in his last three Finals games, but is taking enough attempts to justify a wager here. At + odds, this prop has great value for a player who the Suns will continue to lean on in order to extend the series.

Devin Booker under 30.5 points (-105)

It might be confusing to see Booker over 2.5 triples above this prop, but the Suns know they need to get other people involved. Booker will still get his points, but more than 30 seems tough after back-to-back 40+ point outings. Phoenix is going to spread the ball around more and that will cap Booker’s point ceiling for Game 6.
