UFC 256 is live from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The headliner is a flyweight main event between Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno for the flyweight title. Three weeks ago, both Figueiredo and Moreno competed at UFC 255. Figueiredo was defending his title against Alex Perez, while Moreno was going up against Brandon Royval. There are five fights on the main card, and five on the preliminary card that starts at 7:30 p.m. ET live on ESPN+.

It was a classic, but it was without a winner. A low kick in the third round gave Figueiredo a one-point deduction, and it turned out to be the difference between winning and losing. We’ll see these two back in the cage again very soon I’m sure, and the fans won’t be complaining.
Tony Ferguson vs. Charles Oliveira
Winner: Charles Oliveira
Winning Method: Charles Oliveira wins by unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-26)
It was an upset for the +140 underdog in Oliveira, but he dominated the fight from pillar to post. Oliviera led on significant strikes 41-19, and 11:39-0:05 on fight control. He also completed all three takedowns in the fight.
#11 Mackenzie Dern vs. #13 Virna Jandiroba
Winner: Mackenzie Dern
Winning Method: Mackenzie Dern wins via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
In an close fight, both fighters landed exactly 78 total strikes, and Jandiroba won on ground control 2:44 to 2:34. Dern led on significant ones 63-59, and was declared the winner despite a clearly broken nose. But most agree it was the right decision, giving her the first and third rounds.

Winner: Kevin Holland
Winning Method: Kevin Holland wins by TKO at 1:45 of Round 1.

#7 Junior dos Santos vs. #14 Ciryl Gane
Winner: Ciryl Gane
Winning Method: Ciryl Gane wins by TKO at 2:34 of the second round.
Gane moves to 7-0 in MMA, 4-0 in the UFC, and remains a terror for anyone facing him.
Cub Swanson vs. Daniel Pineda
Winner: Cub Swanson
Winning Method: Cub Swanson wins in Round 2 by knockout at 1:52.
Swanson, who was the underdog coming into the fight, received his 12th career KO/TKO victory.
Renato Moicano vs. Rafael Fiziev
Winner: Rafael Fiziev
Winning Method: Rafael Fiziev wins in Round 1 by knockout at 4:05.
Fiziev did not waste anytime and put together a powerful striking combo to drop Moicano for the knockout.
Gavin Tucker vs. Billy Quarantillo
Winner: Gavin Tucker
Winning Method: Gavin Tucker wins in Round 3 by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
The “Guv’Nor” Tucker landed an astounding 106 significant strikes and seven takedowns on Quarantillo.
Tecia Torres vs. Sam Hughes
Winner: Tecia Torres
Winning Method: Tecia Torres wins in Round 1 by TKO (doctor stoppage) as Sam Hughes suffered an eye injury.
The “Tiny Tornado” Torres blitzed Sam Hughes from the start to get her second-consecutive win.
Chase Hooper vs. Peter Barrett
Winner: Chase Hooper
Winning Method: Chase Hooper wins in Round 3 by submission (heel hook) at 3:02.
The 21-year-old MMA fighter pulled off a fancy and crafty takedown to get Peter Barrett down on the mat.
