Everything you need to know for Modafferi vs. Murphy at UFC on ESPN 11

The UFC returns to action Saturday evening with UFC on ESPN 11 at its Las Vegas Apex facility. The event is scheduled to open sometime after 5 p.m. with Austin Hubbard and Max Rohskopf facing off in a lightweight bout. The ESPN event concludes with a main event featuring heavyweight contenders as Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov face off in the Octagon.

The second fight of the preliminary card is a women’s flyweight contenders bout between Roxanne Modafferi and Lauren Murphy. Modafferi is ranked sixth in the division, while Murphy is ranked seventh. Modafferi opened as the favorite at -150 and is $8,500 in DFS pricing. Murphy opened as a +120 underdog and is $7,700 in DFS pricing.

Modafferi enters the bout with a 24-16 record, with 15 coming via decision. She has alternated wins and losses dating back to December 2017. Most recently she defeated Maycee Barber via unanimous decision in January’s UFC 246.

Murphy enters the bout with a 12-4 record, winning eight by way of KO or TKO. She’s won three of her last four fights after having lost three of her previous four. Her most recent fight was a split decision win over Andrea Lee in February at UFC 247.
