UFC returned to Las Vegas last weekend for an ESPN cable event, and this coming Saturday, UFC hosts its first PPV at its Apex facility since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out. UFC 250 is scheduled for June 6th, with the preliminary card starting just after 6 p.m. on ESPN. The main card will air on ESPN+ as a PPV.
The card’s main event will feature Amanda Nunes defending her featherweight championship against Felicia Spencer. Nunes is 19-4 and has won ten straight fights. She currently holds both the featherweight and bantamweight titles and is coming off two straight defenses of the bantamweight title. Prior to that, she defeated Cris Cyborg to claim the featherweight title, and this will be her first defense of that title.
Spencer is 8-1 as a pro and coming off a first round TKO win over Zarah Fairn Dos Santos at UFC Fight Night 169. This marks her fourth UFC fight. Prior to her TKO win, she won her UFC debut with a first round submission win over Megan Anderson and then lost a unanimous decision to Cristiane Justino at UFC 240 last July. She came over from Invicta where she held the featherweight title.
