UFC is back in Las Vegas on Saturday, June 6th, for its first Apex facility PPV since the organization restarted its events. The preliminary card gets started just after 6 p.m. on ESPN. The main card will air on ESPN+ as a PPV, with Amanda Nunes defending her featherweight title against Felicia Spencer.
The main card features a welterweight bout between two 30+ year old veterans when Neil Magny squares off against Anthony Rocco Martin. Magny has fought primarily at welterweight in his career, with a little bit of middleweight mixed in. Martin has fought a fair amount at lightweight to go along with his welterweight numbers.
Magny is 22-7 and coming off a UFC 248 unanimous decision win over Jingliang Li in March. Prior to that he lost to Santiago Ponzinibbio via knockout at UFC Fight Night 140 n November of 2018. Magny is currently averaging 3.86 significant strikes per minute to 2.22 absorbed per minute.
Martin is 17-5 and coming off a unanimous decision win over Ramazan Emeev at UFC Fight Night 163 last November. Prior to that he lost a majority decision to Demian Maia at UFC on ESPN 3 the prior June. Martin is currently averaging 2.82 significant strikes per minute to 2.72 absorbed per minute.
