UFC 250 is set to take place this Saturday at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN. It is the first event UFC is hosting at its Apex facility in Las Vegas since before the pandemic shut things down. The preliminary card gets started just after 6 p.m. on ESPN and the main card will air on ESPN+ as a PPV. Amanda Nunes defends her featherweight championship against Felicia Spencer in the main event.
The preliminary card includes featherweight bout between Cody Stamann and Brian Kelleher. Stamann is 18-2-1 and opened as a -286 favorite. Kelleher is 21-10 and opened as a +225 underdog.
Stamann is 1-1-1 in his last three fights. He had a majority draw in his most recent fight, against Yadong Song at UFC on ESPN 7 in December. Prior to that he won a unanimous decision over Alejandro Perez at UFC 235 in March, and in September 208 he lost via kneebar submission to Aljamain Sterling at UFC 228. He is currently averaging 4.25 significant strikes per minute while absorbing 3.06.
Kelleher has won his last two fights after a pair of losses. He beat Hunter Azure via second round knockout at UFC Fight Night 171 in May and beat Ode Osbourne via guillotine choke submission at UFC 246 in January. He is currently averaging 5.01 significant strikes per minute while absorbing 5.98.
